Invisible vapour?
I was thinking about this today. Is it possible to make an ecig that has a throat hit and delivers nicotine but produces no visible vapour? If so they should make an e-cig that looks like a pen (they could even put a working pen on the end) instead of an LED.
It would be perfect for smoking in public, and the satisfaction of outsmarting the nicotine Nazis would make for an all the more enjoyable time.

I think the major problem with this is that smokers associate the vapour with smoking; ergo, without the vapour users find it harder to replace analogue cigs. That being said, I am sure there is a market for smoke free variations, just probably not on the same scale.
-
If invisible vapour could be achieved just by altering the eliquid, rather than the atomizer, then it wouldn't really affect/bother most ecig users as people could choose invisible vapour specifically to smoke on planes etc.

If you inhale Ruyan vapour there is nothing visible on the exhale. I don't know how they do it and as far as I know no other brand does that.

There is another out there that gives invisible vapor, and it doesn't even require batteries. It is called the Nicotrol Inhaler. It actually gives a mean throat hit!

Every smoker is different, for some people just the nicotine hit is sufficient, for some others the nicotine is not so important but the act of smoking is, look at people who is vaping 0% nic, they are more adicts to the act of smoking than to the nicotine, there is a way to prevent the vapor to be seen, after you take a draw just inhale a big load of fresh air, no vapor will come out.

I would love to have liquid that didn't cause vapor, just to help keep a low profile. It would be extremely handy for work. Even when management allows e-cigs there are always going to be some anti-smokers that can raise a fit. If there's no visible vapor, no one has a clue what you are doing; they just think you are weird for sucking on a pen fairly often. No visible vapor is also easier to explain as a nicotene inhaler, if necessary.
With some airlines banning these things, bars and restaurants varying in their vape policies, and the perceived threat of banning in both the US and UK, I would be happy to move as far away from the appearance of smoking as quickly as possible.
Edit: Abe I do agree that quitting analogs might be easier with the appearance of smoke. I also think that those of us who have already successfully quit with these things would be well served to move on to products that do not in any way shape or form resemble analogs, at least in public.

I agree
I agree. In fact I agree so much I started a new thread!
Oops, I'll close the other one as I didn't even see someone else was wandering the same thing.

I would love it for work too....and those social situations where others seeing puffs of smoke would cause too many problems.
