    Default Less breakable Passthru?

These things are ridiculous. No reason to make a product that works for four days before breaks. Does anyone know of a seller who has a reliable passthru device? Ridiculous....

Not sure what passthrough you bought (mine is the 901 from Puresmoker) or 'what' caused it to break? I've been using mine for about a month with no problems, but I do worry all the time about catching the wire (going into the battery) on things and ripping it out. I read somewhere (another forum when ECF was down I think) about somebody putting Gorilla glue around the cord where it goes into the battery to give it extra support. I thought it sounded like a great idea! I bought my Gorilla glue, but haven't done mine yet. Just thought I'd pass on the idea if it was the cord that went on yours? I ordered 2 more passthrough spares that just came... and going to Gorilla glue them too, just to be safe.

i have wrapped sellotape around the wire on my pass through, all the way from one end to the other, keeps it very protected.

I wish I knew how to make a passthrough. I'd like to see one made with a retractable USB like this

But until then I pull my cord through one of these

I got mine from Puresmoker and it only lasted me 19 days..I wouldn't say that is reliable.

Default Are you sure it is the Passthough?

I have 5 of these and have found that they do not work with some of the atomizers that I have used batteries with as well. Try it with a new atomizer before you call it a day on the passthough as this is a problem. I thought I got a bunch of duds till I used it on a new atomizer--It was a connection problem ---Sun

It's a key chain holder....put keys on one end, clip the other to your belt loop. It's a rubbery, springy coil (like the ones you can wear around your wrist?). You can find them all around in the US.

The only thing I can think is she must push the cable through one end and out the other (couldn't do it with the battery box ones obviously)....acts as a barrier for the wire and keeps it from getting all bent up. This is only my guess. I'm sure she'll be around to answer though

Yep Lu got it, it's a keychain, like a spiral phone cord (curly cord). I Pass the cable through it and tape the top of the cord to the passthru battery and clip the other end to my desk knob. The cable will always retract to the bottom where it is clipped to the desk. The cord stretches up to 3'
