Default Need help with new ways to get what I'm missing!

So after a while I realized that the Ecig is great, good flavors and an amazing activity. The nicotine allows me to quit smoking, great! Now heres the problem...

I realized that the nicotine from the hookah I smoked had the few things that I was missing in my ejuice, such as my antidepressants whatever else was in it that calmed me down. Long story short, I have no nic cravings with my Ecig, but I'm an ....... without those missing elements, not to mention I'm stressed and a little depressed. Point is I tried hookah again last night and I literally got happy, couldn't believe it, its like a light switch turned on and the happiness came back. Either way I know I need what I'm missing otherwise the above will happen.

So what should I do? Maybe smoke hookah when I'm at home, then when I'm out and about and at work use my Ecig? Or should I try snus? I don't want gum disease though. Is there a way to vape snus? Like maybe cover it in some vg and vape the crap out of it? Don't know, but all ideas will be helpful. Thanks.

So, how did this hookah thing work? Did you carry one in your car? Did you fire it up in the morning? It sounds like a PITA to me.

I didn't bring it with me. I just smoked when I got off work and was at home. When I was at work I just suffered through withdraws for a while till I got off work to do it all over again.

Yep, you can vape snus. TropicalBob did a video of it.

Sounds like you're needing the alkaloids from analogs. Snus has them. I don't know if you want to read the thread Nicotine, are we getting it (or something like that) because it's fairly lenghty but it explains that cigarettes have other things that are addictive besides just nicotine such as MAOI's. Snus should take care of all of this for you without having to go back to analogs.

I've read it already, thats how I know I'm missing something, other than the fact I have personality changes. I cant see the video because of my works internet filter, so can someone tell me who actually vapes snus if they can still taste the great flavors they get from the ejuice?

Well i am not sure what is actually in Hookah tobacco but my guess with the symptoms you are describing its more like going thru withdrawals from whatever chemical is in tobacco that is not in juice.

I am the same way at times, I get really moody and sometimes depressed but the reason why i wanted to quit smoking was to do away with all forms of smoking tobacco period.

I am not sure how long you have been vaping, but like anything i am sure withdrawal symptoms last for some time. I would honestly try and deal with it. Unless you dont mind hookah tobacco then by all means, HOOK away! but for me personally, i wanted smoke and tobacco gone all together.

I have tried to quit many times before when i knew nothing about ecigs and it was MUCH harder then it is now. The withdrawals are very minor NOW because i still have nicotine flowing thru me, I am sure people will go thru withdrawals from all the other chemicals that were in analogs.

After 9 months of vaping (no cigs) I finally turned to snus to supplement vaping. I was one of the few that nicotine alone didn't work for. Upping my nic level in my liquid just made me oddly slightly anxious.

Snus works great, is inexpensive and I haz my happy back! I use 3-6 a day.

You're missing those MAOIs! I've got some MAOI/nic juice in the works, the only problem is price. A reasonable dose of a natural MAOI costs about $1/ml to add to the mix. So that would bring the price up around $20/10ml. While that's fine for researchers the price will have to come down a bit before it will probably be accepted in the market.

Until then e-cigs are the best NRT on the market today.

Well I don't have any withdrawals because hookah tobacco doesn't contain any of the additives that analogs have, although it still has the MOAI's that made me happy. So if anything at all, I'm addicted to the antidepressant found in my hookah tobacco.

Can you still taste your Eliquid flavors when you add it to the snus?
