"Findings.
Ruyan® e-cigarette is designed to be a safe alternative to smoking. The various test results confirm this is the case. It is very safe relative to cigarettes, and also safe in absolute terms on all measurements we have applied. Using micro-electronics it vaporizes, separately for each puff, very small quantities of nicotine dissolved in propylene glycol, two small well-known molecules with excellent safety profiles, – into a fine aerosol. Each puff contains one third to one half the nicotine in a tobacco cigarette’s puff. The cartridge liquid is tobacco-free and no combustion occurs"
I wouldnt put much creedance (sp?) in a manufacturer report, for a few reasons. One, I saw a manufacturer the other day that was claiming that e-cigs were safe for pregnant women. Um... NO! Nicotine can cause birth defects. Plus, alot of the stuff in flavorings hasnt been fully tested. Some items change their chemical composition when heated, such as licorice extract, which yields all sorts of nasties - from cat.inist.fr/?aModele=afficheN&cpsidt=17030731
At simulated tobacco burning temperatures up to 900 °C all forms of neat licorice extract pyrolyzed extensively, yielding small amounts of benzene, toluene, phenol and acetaldehyde with no indication that licorice extracts would transfer intact to mainstream smoke. As a single ingredient added to cigarette tobacco, block licorice extract at a target level of 12.5% increased smoke constituents including selected PAH, arsenic, lead, phenol and formaldehyde (on a TPM basis),

oh, wait...This guy is THAT guy?
lol.
Take your crap elsewhere, dude...Nobody here cares.
And if you push your particular agenda you're going to find that big tobacco starts baring its teeth a lot sooner and a lot nastier than we'd like.
You can bury your own business all you like but don't step on everyone else while you're doing it (Also, I hear your product sucks).

awe feck it's the billboard monkey . From what i've seen spread across various forums is the OP is only interested in inflating his wallet .
I havent even bothered reading the huge block of text that is the original post.
"the safe cig" PaH!!! The only safe cig is no cig. just by calling the company that already proves he doesn't know his onions.
One for the "IGNORE" list me thinks....
edit: And why is it that people still think that even if it is proven to be "safe" that it's gonna be legal ?
If it is deemed "safe" you can still bet ur asses the powers that be will ban there use eventually, be it because it could be seen as a stepping stone to analogues or just that there's no money in it for the government e-cigs WILL be banned sooner or later. Just enjoy it while you can.Big brother is watching...closer and closer

I can't figure out why the guy hasn't been perma'd yet.
He's obviously just another money-grubber that couldn't care less about his customers or any of the crap that he's spewing.
To the OP, we've all heard about you. We've heard about your ignorance and jackassery so I don't think you'll be getting a very warm reception here.
If you want to keep your business alive and thriving, do it in a way that doesn't f.ck all of us, yeah?

As for the question in the thread title, "Why is it legal to sell cigarettes...?" It's quite simple - tax dollars and big industry. Until the govt figures out a way to tax e-cigs and juice, they WILL attempt to ban them once theyre more mainstream (which is just around the corner). And, all your stunts (such as the Obama billboard) are akin to putting up a big neon sign saying, "Hey Govt, we're 'smoking' without having to pay those hefty taxes!"

The Biggest problem is how he presents himself, sadly it's not in a professional manor and it seems that he is only interested in trying to market his product. But for some reason, he's in denial and doesn't see the self destructive path he has set himself and everyone else on.
Sad to say he's not the only Mall Kiosks out there with the same mentality.

WHOA...you are going off the edge there, don't you think? Many legal products on the market today can cause death in their users: alcohol, prescription drugs, fast food, diesel fuel, etc. etc. People make the choice to use them even though they are aware of the risks. Are you favoring prohibition? If you are, you will cause a sh**load of trouble for all of us. Some of us, well me anyway, do not want anyone, including those who make, market, and sell, e cigarettes to make those choices for us. I chose to smoke, and if that choice kills me, then that's what can happen when we make bad choices. BUT, no one MURDERED me. I do not understand hysteria, and hysteria is what I hear in your post. Remember, if you make one dangerous product illegal, it is likely that other dangerous products will become illegal also. Meanwhile, you are perfectly free not to buy products that might kill you.
