Default totallywicked insert disturbing as hell

Dude I just got my totallywicked e-liquid and there was an insert along with my package that just scared the hell out of me.

It has a skull and crossbones and said "toxic if inhaled, toxic if contacts skin, toxic if swallowed, etc. etc. etc." Then it said, contact a doctor immediately if you swallow or come in contact with this liquid.

First of all, what is up with TOXIC IF INHALED?????? Dude, isn't that what we're supposed to DO WITH THE STUFF?

Second, the scull and crossbones were a bit on the freaky/disturbing side. Not something I want to see when I'm about to try a new flavor that I just ordered. Talk about a BUZZKILL!!!!!!

    LOL

It's probably because of the PG

Even toothpaste has a warning : If more than used for brushing is accidently swallowed,
get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away

sounds perfectly reasonable to me. I've been thinking myself that the juice needed such a warning to help protect the vendor from sue-happy people (and protect the idiots from themselves)

nicotine is a poison, plain and simple. And, it is readily absorbed through the skin.

regarding the "toxic if inhaled" - I think they mean "aspirated".

ha ha, I guess he's playing strictly by the rules. pillbox is looking out for himself and will be the last man to ever get a charge against him by the sue-happies. I think that jolly roger is the international symbol for toxic.

That is a great idea. All makers of the juice should put toxic labels on it. If the FDA comes sniffing around you just tell them they are for aromatherapy and are not to be ingested, we really know what the liquid is for, end of problem.

I guess if we wanted to go that route we could just have an underground market kinda like water tobbaco pipes are sold legally in the usa for tobbacco consumption even though ive never seen em used for tobacco!

I think a better route would to try and slowly ease people into excepting them and warning labels is surely something that will ease a lot of potential problems with getting them accepted.

    so cheers to TW

Totally Wicked did the right thing. What they say is true, and should be said to anybody who purchases the poison. Nicotine IS toxic when inhaled. If we inhale it in spite of the warning, we do it at our own risk. Nobody can tell us when exactly we will reach the point of poisoning ourselves when inhaling e-liquid vapors.

I hope the other vendors follow suit soon. It is reasonable and good for everybody IMHO.

Everything on the Leaflets i now send out and on my bottle labels and packaging will be a requirement that any legitimate vendor will have to follow. All that is on there is the full CHIP requirements. Looks nasty when its read but it is unavoidable

Remember if Nicotine patches were not regulated by the MHRA then they would need to carry the same warnings..
