I'm in Kate, registered - just got to find my feet in there now. Although my background isnt medicine I can hopefully assist and contribute.

From my experience in forums, often I find there are lots of noob posts answered by a very patient few repeating the same answers over and over, often the seasoned enthusiast posts rarely. There are also issues with certain sections of the community having a lot to say and others feeling uneasy posting their concens and feelings.

I do certainly agree that it is very interesting to hear members feedback and experiences, just be realistic that it isn't going to make a dot of difference to the legal journey we are on.

The real answer IMHO is to get tobacco firms or NRT pharms to embrace the idea of the 'personal atomizer'

Do you have any background w/ homeopathic? I don't know if you have seen any of my blabbing about that idea... but I am no scientist... and I am curious if this would be a good idea. A couple of manufacturers I have talked to say that this is an option they are extremely interested in pursuing... and I assume the more info I can give them the better.

I have determined that we would need to be 1x or 2x because 5x/6x is just way to diluted and from what I have learned, 1x or 2x is rare... now I am attempting to figure out why.

It would be nice if science could give us some kind of assurance ......but unfortunately I think science will only scare us with all the potential dangers........almost every day there is a new scientific report or study that warns us of the terrible dangers of every food we eat or every chemical we use......scientists are never going to tell us vaping is safe. Science would put a health warning on every single thing on the planet.

Nutrition and supplementation is my thing I am afraid, and it's true that nothing is ever certified 100% safe.

One thing is sure though, it is going to be either expensive or lengthy for things to settle down.

The 'backdoor' route to acceptance is a good one for those with shallow pockets. There are multiple ways to skin a cat.

There's a thread on RTV about the homeopathic idea... so if you are ever finding yourself thinking about it... please feel free to add... I will take any suggestions or help there is to offer. My goal is to exhaust that avenue so we can either get a manufacturer to have juice approved so we can all stop worrying about it or I can move on to something else.

It would certainly have merit, I'll give it some thought and post over on RTV.

I heard of e-cig for the first time about two and a half weeks ago. I received my first (e-cigar model) two weeks ago today. I have not had one drag of tobacco since. I was a heavy smoker for about 28 years. I gave up cigarettes about five years ago when I switched to cigars. I smoked an average of 10 a day.

I now have a 901 as well as the e-cigar. I already feel better. I can smell better, breath better, and have more energy.

For me at least, vaping is much better than smoking. I have no desire to ever go back to tobacco.

Now I am trying to figure out how to get an e-cigarette store up and running.

Yes I think all of us 'feel' as if vaping is just about as healthy as if we were not inhaling anything at all. .......and I think all the suppliers have probably got involved with e-cigs not just to make some money but because they are smokers who have given up and have developed an absolute passion about the product.
