Look at your inspection date. (It's on a white card that is in your kit) It can also be told by what time period you bought it. As far as I know everything up to now is the first batch. The new batch (Improved 2nd run) is coming soon. I assume that if you are taking advantage of the current presale you will be getting the 2nd run improved ones.

I too am taking the wait and see approach. When I get it I will give a review of it.

Out of the box [and after 8 hour charge], I was blown away how well the Dura worked! The next day it steadily decreased in performance, and now a week later is way below satisfactory. I'll tweak around with it, but my M401 remains my "go-to" device for reliable vapor.

taleywhacker - I never had a problem with it leaking into my mouth, just all over my hands, my desk, and anywhere else I set it down. It leaked from both the cart-atomizer junction and the holes in the atomizer.
I agree that for the two weeks my Dura worked, it was a great e-cig. Got an email from Jeff today; parts should be in next week.

Hello! I have now been vaping since 10:00 Thursday night, a little over 24 hours now. I believe I have Dura. The box says JoyE510, 20 JAN 2009. My batteries also were blinking when I took them out. A sign of trouble? I hope not. My only other E smoke was a disposable sample. I must say that I absolutely love this item, but I really do not have anything else to compare it to. I watched Parkeds videos while my batteries were charging (thanks Parked!). So far I have a little leaked juice, but that may be due to my inexperience. I am now on my third battery charge, so I am getting about 5 hours on a charge, although one did quit after 3 hours. I smoke three packs of analogs a day, but have only a used one pack in the last 24 hours. I wish I could tell you more, but I have nothing to compare it to. I was about to order another, for my girlfriend, and the extra battery and chargers. Now I will wait and see what is going on with this device. I really hope that everything will be OK with mine, as I can already tell that I would rather E smoke than do three packs of analogs a day.
Now, I've tried not to ask any redundant questions in my previous yet few so please forgive me but here goes;
Should I only charge the batteries 2 to 3 hours after initial charge, as a box implies? Or is it OK to leave them on for more than that. I know that their lithium ion, I use power tools with this technology. My tool batteries do just fine in the charger for days, but then to I think the charger shut itself off.
Could somebody please tell me the best way to clean or blowout the atomizer? I am a little confused!
How much of the battery life is used on the cigarettes coal?

Sorry guys, I am using the voice recognition technology instead of typing. I said the word post, and the dam computer posted before I could finish!
I was about done any ways, just wanted to say thanks to everybody. Sorry for any misspelled words or broken sentences in my previous post, I didn't have time to double check it!

We label our boxes suggesting a 2-3 hour charge. I leave them on over night all the time. We do not advocate this, as ecig chargers are not UL rated and therefore we do not want to be responsible for any kind of fire hazard. If you do leave it on the charger over night, please make sure that it is on a surface that is fire proof and that there is nothing near by that might catch fire. I think the chances of a fire are extremely rare, I am just a cautious person. As far as cleaning the atomizer, I would check this forum for threads on that topic. There is a wealth of knowledge here. Let me know if the batteries do fail, I will replace them, at no extra charge to you, if you actually bought them from me.
BTW, the whole blinking in the box thing used to really bother me. But then I realized it is just that the switch is very sensitive. The blinking will stop after a couple of use cycles.
