This is quite par for the course guys. This should be in the newbie section . They put primer, aka OIL in the atomizor when the chinese ship them. Most of us, despite our lungs opinion, "smoke through" it by smoking with juice straight on the atomizor until it goes away. It can take quite some time. Perhaps hmmm. I would say up to 1ml of equid poured on it (not at once mind you) till it goes away. I would try water too. You can pour water in the atomizor and really barely even dry it off and it should revape. I do 20 seconds of hair dryer in the hole... Anyhow yeah get used to it... "Oil" flavor juice coming right at you!

Boil for 1 minutes, blow it out through both ends, reprime with liquid and enjoy. Cant get any easier than that.

I have tried everything. You really should not have to go thru all of this to get a decent tasting vapor. If my original ecig did this I would have thrown it out right away and totally dismissed ecgis and stuck to the real thing. There is no way in hell I would even try to smoke 1ml of liquid to get the metal taste out of it.

I contacted bestecig.com - the place where I ordered it, I don't know if its a laguage barrier or what, but they're trying to tell me this is normal, they claim to test out the equipment before they ship - I think this is a crock of sh!t, I wouldn't give this atomizer to my worst enemy. It really sucks that shipping is $19 and the atm. only cost $8. I will only be ordering from US suppliers in the future.

after a ton of rinsing with warm-hot water, flooding with e-liquid a couple of times, and lots of mini-puffing, it's starting to fade. Thank god! I even tried using some of PureSmoker's apple e-juice to mask the taste, but it just made it even worse.

I cant help but wonder how many have tried e-cigs only to toss 'em because of that vile taste?

    guys ...

Like I stated earlier .... If you get an atomizer with a Plastic type taste (although it may blow plumes of vapor) it will NEVER get better. Priming Taste vs. Plastic/burnt/metallic tastes are 2 completely different things.

I have personally used about 2-3 in about 8-9 months, and have had a couple atomizer come back with the same issue.

If the taste itself doesn't subside within about 100 puffs, its done/gone/BADDY

... that taste brings back bad memmories ... every inhale was like Liquid Chemical Cleaner .... yuck

P.S. = My PM Mailbox gets really full, really fast, so bear with me if it takes me a few days to get to your PM :) Don't forget, you can always contact us at info@puresmoker.com :)

I'm not sure which it is I was tasting, taste buds are now totally fried (cant get the taste out of my mouth - ugh!) But, I put empty mouthpiece back on and mini-puffed it repeatedly until only a tiny dab of smoke still coming out (this is after doing the rinse and flood thing a couple of times) and put a few drops of puresmoker french pipe on the atomizer and can actually stand to inhale the stuff. The french pipe is very nice Very glad I ordered the sampler pack from ya I just hope that other taste goes away (cant tell if still there or not since cant get the taste out of my mouth)

side note: the e-cig isnt from puresmoker, was going to order it from there but was out of stock at the time (feb 7)

I think Cashmere is right, having a primer taste and a nasty metal/toxic taste are 2 different things. I don't know how you guys can stand to puff it 100 times trying to get the taste out, I only puffed it a few times several days ago and I still have that nasty taste in my mouth.... I'm going to keep trying to contact bestecig.com, hopefully they will send me a new ATM if I keep bothering them.

OutWest - are your atomizers with the awful taste also from best-e-cigs? Mad, I bought a set of 5 atomizers from them some weeks ago too. I have meanwhile tried 3 out of those 5, and all 3 have the same issue as yours. It's bad enough that I can't find the courage just yet to even try those last 2... recovering at the moment with the use of other atomizers I luckily also had around...
So... it might be a very bad batch of atomizers from the one company?

(Edit: if it's just the primer, first blow out what you can, that lessens what you have to work through by 90% if not more...) (and no, I know what primer-issue is and the issue Mad and I are having is definately not a primer-issue).
