    Default "Mini Cig" atomizers suck?!

Anyone have 901 atomizers that are labeled "Mini Cig"? Like the one on the left in the picture.

I went through 4 of these and they are just awful.. Bad vapor production, inconsistent, doesn't drain cart and difficult draw. I've tried everything, from boiling to the needle thing and nothing.

And all this time, I thought the 901 was a piece of junk. The only good thing I can think of to say about these atomizers is that I haven't had any problems with the carts not fitting.

When the last of those atomizers died... I tried the atomizer I got from a mystery bag from altsmoke. HOLY CRAP!!!!!!~! I've been living in the dark.
SMOOOOTH draw... just like an analog or better! Thick clouds of vapor everytime! And they suck the carts dry. The puresmoker atomizers are the same too.

The only bad thing about these atomizers are, that the only cartridges that fit are the 2-piece type ones. And even then, they're pretty loose.

so... If anyones been having the same problems with "mini cig" labeled atomizers... just dump em and get new ones..

p.s pick up some carts too.. they're not really compatible. The atomizer bridges and carts are different in length by 1mm.

I ordered a new DSE 901b from a supplier listed in this forum supplier page. The first one was junk from the start. The second worked great for about a week, now it works part time, and not good when it does work. While the first one was replaced by the supplier, I can't say I was impressed with either of them. My faith in the 901 is waining fast. It is a good unit when it works. One day it works great, the next day it's pittiful at best. I just order 2 new starter kits, Yeti's, I sure hope they are better than the 901's that I have been accustomed to. I also had a mini fogger for about 3 days and promptly returned it as well. I'm not sure about the Dura yet, as I have seen mixed reviews. Maybe the new 901 with the 4 hole atomizer will be a hit. These e cigs are very finiky, but I have not had an analog since 10/08 so they do show some promise.

Did your atomizers say "Mini cig" though? I felt the same way also, till I tried an atomizer from a different supplier.

I've had different types with "mini cig" on them - DSE901 and RN4075. The ones with the pointy bridge are DSE901. I'm not keen on this type, and prefer the RN4075's. But I don't think you can read much into what they have got written on them.

I had a few, most worked OK but didn't give off the vapour that my others did.
