I think you would have to vape 24/7 to get complete immunity to colds etc.. The monkeys in 1942 study lived in a areas that was continusely fogged with pg.
actions speak louder than words, do a iittle everyday to save our PV's
I think you are right Taz3Cat - PG (mind you, not VG or PEG, so people using that certainly don't get the benefits) needs to be in the air that carries the bugs, else it won't help. But a constant vaper using a PG-liquid... I do think there is a certain protection for that one.
Also of interest: if you look at the new zealand reports, you see a test that was done in a childrens hospital, looking at common colds... the wards sprayed with PG had a lót less of them, reaching from memory now, no time to look it up... but I think it was 5 to 100 (5 out of 100 children) getting a cold on the PG-wards, against 35 on the non-PG-wards (and the same result, reversed, when they reversed the wards they were spraying PG in).
cigarette smoke is known to suppress the immune system, folks.
quitting = better immune system = not as likely to get sick and get better faster.
Vaporized PG does seem to steralize the air. Problem is most colds and flus are spread by contact. So, no real help, there.
Might be a fluke, then, but the claims about PG vapour warrant further investigation - the juice I use has always been PG based, occasionally topped up with VG.

Guess who has a cold.
Bang goes that theory.

As a smoker I take lots of vitamen C because I learned years ago smoking depletes your stores. Now that you've started vaping maybe you're back up to a normal C level.
I just got over a super-nasty flu. Everyone I know got it too, so maybe it was just impervious to PG
No colds this year tho!![]()
