just wanted to get everyones reasons why they bought theyre very first e cig.
was it because you wanted to quit smoking?
was it just an impulse buy?
or perhaps one of your friends let you try one, and went from there.

i, personally, thought it was the coolest thing since sliced bread, and had to have it. after doing 37.5 non-stop hours of research i decided to get a joye 510 from cignot.com
that was about a month ago, and now im obsessed.
i still smoke 2-4 analogs a day, but its a big cut back from a pack and a half a day.
sorry i like to ramble on.

anyway, lets here it!

mine was pure impulse, and though i was stupid and bought one of the cheap expensive starters. it sat for awhile until a day when i ran out of coffin nails, and rather go to the store i happened to remember i had this thing, and gave it a try. haven't looked back.

i live in upstate ny and its about -15 out durring the day. the only time i smoke an analog is while driving to work in my nice warm car

I wanted to quit smoking and have (6 weeks, a ittle to early for a final talley). I can't see going back.

I saw an add in Rolling Stone for one back in June. Ordered one on a whim and had quit smoking by July.

I was lucky enough to find this and another vaping forum and ordered a 510 kit, and have been cigarette free since then.

Don't know if I've saved money, or even broke even, since a new PV seems to come out every week. I've acquired a nice little arsenal in the last 7 months.

They started selling them in a lot of local gas stations. After talking with a few friends that had bought them, I decided it was at least worth a try. I originally thought it would make me crave analog cigarettes less, but I ended up not needing them at all.

I saw an ad and wanted one 'cause I'm a techy, didn't expect to quit it just hit me like a ton of bricks "wow, I'm done smoking!" that was my first vape, and my last want for an analog. I have had to have one every now and again because of lack of supplies or faulty equipment but it's all good.

I decided it was time to quit. I had been using the gum for a month and still couldn't shake the urges. I got online to try to find some ideas or recommendations to help me deal with my frustrations and I found some PV information. It piqued my curiosity. I had heard of them, but never gave them any real thought. They had seemed like a silly gimmick to me. Eventually I found this very forum.... and I ordered a 510 from Cignot and a M4xx from LiteCigUSA. The rest is history!
