As the title says, I need a low-cost solution for making this thing a better e-cig.
Lately I started coughing up a lot of phlegm because I've been smoking a lot more then I used to. I've been out of work for a couple of months due to a spinal injury and because I'm bored at home all day I've been smoking a lot, almost two packs a day without even realizing it.
So when I was first introduced to e-cigs by a Smoking Everywhere kiosk at the mall, I knew that I had to get this thing to save my lungs, because I couldn't really cut down on the analogs much no matter how hard I tried. I got home and thought it over, and with the little free money I did have available, I bought a Smoking Everywhere starter kit online, as well as a bunch of the Smoking Everywhere cartridges. And then when I started checking out this site I saw that I had been way overcharged, and for a lousy model at that.
Well I finally got it and after trying it out it functioned so poorly that I didn't feel like I was smoking at all, and I was straight back to where I started in smoking my analogs. The vapor production is very poor, and you have to draw very hard to get any vapor at all. The whole thing feels more like a chore then it feels like smoking.
Is there anyway I can get some better function out of it until I can get a nice one when I'm able to go back to work? I realize that there is a modding sub-forum but the solutions to this could very likely be things other then modifying the actual e-cig.
Perhaps some kind of cheap and easy device I could make that would draw the smoke for me so I can take a full hit at once with an easier draw?
A brand of eLiquid that produces more vapor or denser vapor, therefore making me have to draw less for the same amount of vapor?
Something I could add to the eLiquid to make it produce more vapor, like by thinning it down somehow?
Or some kind of very simple/basic modification to the device?
Someone that would be willing to donate a compatible atomizer that I could replace the original one with?
Any ideas would be appreciated. I really need to turn this thing into a better performing e-cig, otherwise I'm going to end up in the hospital because of my own lack of willpower and poor choice in product.

DC sorry to hear about your proplem i was there as far as the device you may have gotten a KR808 which might be compatible with the mini fogger or other minis out there.
most starter kits come have everything you need. you could look into a dse-901 or RN4075.
i know you want to make use out of your device you have but you could get lucky the the swaps should have someting.
i had a smoke every where but you might be lucky and get the to work with the m401/pilot/dura line atomiser's my suggestion if you can return your smoke everywhere for refund to the site. talk to customer service you might get lucky

I already did talk to him, but he only allow returns that are unopened.
Thanks so much for your advice though. Another member seemed to think that the Smoking Everywhere e-cigs are the KR808-A model. If this is the case would it still be compatible with regular KR808 parts?
I wish I would have actually tried it when I was at the mall instead of being deterred by germs. I'm sure a lot of other people are in the same boat and ended up buying the starter kit without trying it themselves. I really want to go to the mall and tell people how terrible it is and how there are much better products out there at much lower prices as one member had suggested. Does anyone know if I can get in trouble for this? Or I could just bring plastic wrap so everyone who' doesn't want to put their mouth where hundred of others have been can try it without worry.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I haven't had any luck fixing that product problem so unfortunately no suggestions.
Please consider filing a complaint with the BBB over the shoddy product and poor customer service. As Kit the journalist noted, BBB is one tool journos use when investigating these companies. Some consumers check it also.

I'll be sure to do so. I can only comment on the product's poor quality though, not the company's customer service, because I didn't purchase the item directly from the Smoking Everywhere company.

Ok, I got stuck with my kr-808a (lousy POS isn’t it) here is my suggestion on making it a bit better.
It is best to drip with this one.
Take the inner cart out and the remove the cap off the top of the cart. Widen the hole with an X-Acto or drill.
Take the LED cap off for better air flow. (You could also widen the existing air paths on the cap then replace it)
Now here is the tricky one. Make you four hole atomizer into a 3 hole. How I did this was to take a very small piece of card stock paper and stick it in one hole and carefully cut it off then I carefully put a drop of liquid (not gel) super glue on it to set it in place. Make sure not to get the glue on the threads.
If you make it a 2 hole atomizer the draw is too hard IMO. I hope that helps.

if u have the ability to make your own e cig... follow the modders path...
use cheap generic atomizers.. cheap top up fluid and it wont cost much..
but there are no magic tricks to makes the normal e cigs work better...
u bought a product where 95% of the price u paid is sales promotion...
if u cant make your own e smoking device..buy a 901 starer kit and take it from there.. it certainly should not cost any more than the real cig route..

You could try going to the mall again or sending someone to exchange your Smokingeverywhere cig for the "long" version I think its called. The first one I bought from them was just awful... had the same problems you did with the vapor production.
I went back to the mall and complained. The sales guy exchanged my old one for the "new" and improved version (i think its called "long") . It was slightly longer and had a thicker radius. Looks exactly the same in style.
It actually did work A LOT better. Much better vapor production but not much of a throat hit. Still not good enough for a heavy smoker. Bring your cartridges too if you decide to exhange cuz they aren't interchangeable.
Or...
Do what others mentioned. Get yourself a generic or mod. Smokingeverywhere really is 90% marked up!
good luck

I bought a DSE901B from ebay for $29.00 including shipping from China. It works great. It might be easier than drilling and possibly breaking what you have. You could also sell your SE on ebay and get back at least part of what you paid. There are lots of them on there. If you could get $65.00 for it, you could buy two sets of the DSE's, not lose any real money, and have a much better e cig
