I was surprised to find out that I did not like the vanilla or cherry flavor, but love the risky juice, 555, coffee and others along that line. I have to agree, everyone's taste buds are different.

Take off the mouthpiece with the core, and the battery - so you hold just tha atomizer-part. Get a tissue. Hold it against the atomizer-bridge (just hold it, don't turn it around else some strands may be taken along by the atomizer-bridge). If it's a pen-model (so if the atomizer is inside the tube) turn a corner of your tissue tightly and then push it into the tube until it rests against the atomizer-bridge, again don't turn it around while touching that bridge (meaning the mesh you see when looking at the atomizer from the top). Now blow hard into the atomizer through the hole at the bottom (the side where the battery belongs). Keep putting new parts of your tissue against the mesh, and blowing, until you see the tissue stays just about clean/dry. Now drip on a few drops of e-liquid (if you don't have that, you can squeeze the cartridge to get a few drops out of there). Let it work into the mesh for a bit; then attach the battery and a fresh cartridge (preferably not one of those coming with the starter-kit, those are sometimes too dry and mostly not tasty) and start vaping. There will still be a little factory-fluid left, but that will soon be gone seeing you have gotten almost all out this way. Good luck, and indeed... give it a chance: looking around on the forum a bit would have warned you for this first experience, then you could have dealt better with it - but hope this helps now at least |

When I started using ecigs last summer, spring practically, all the atomizers I got from njoy and myecigs (meltrex) had a nice strawberry primer - they were luscious tasting right out of the package. I haven't had a good one like that since the winter time. I don't know if the factories stopped to cut costs or if everyone has gone to cheaper atomizers, but those days seem gone. If someone brought it back they would get my business. I'm tired of dumping in the juice and smoking off the crappy taste. That said, some still are much crappier than others. And the (presumably) cheapest ones, the underlying crappiness never goes away. |

You've apparently never popped in to the LIQUID REVIEWS section of the web site. There's all kinds of talk about taste and flavor in there. Also, one thing you'd note if you read the boards a bit is that the majority of people don't like the flavor that's in the carts. Some do, most don't. Time to explore your options. | |

My KB was the only one with the disgusting taste, I thought it tasted like a mixture of burnt rubber and smoking a sharpie pen.

I can see how people say that these things suck. I recently bought a spare atomizer and batteries, the atomizer was defective, everyone told me to wash it, flood it with juice, prime it, smoke it 100 puffs to get rid of the new taste, none of these suggestions worked, the atm arrived defective. This can be very discouraging to someone trying ecigs for the first time.

It sounds like a bad atom. I had one shipped with a 901 that was attached to the atom during shipment. Note to suppliers: Do not do this! The switch must have been turning on during transit, bouncing around, and the atom was dry. It arrived burnt. Once you burn an atom, you get the most horrible taste and that sounds like what happened to you, rather than simply the type of juice you were using. And, some atoms are just bad, right out of the box, no matter how they were shipped. Try a new atom, if you don't have any you need to get some anyway. They only last so long, even if they are working perfectly. |
