nicotine strength question
Hi all,
I did read the posts on nicotine and the debate over absorbtion etc.. But I am confused.
What strength liquid at 2-3 drops on an atomizer whould approximate 1 analog cig?
I'm asking because I seem to keep vaping for long periods of time and dont really get that satisfying nicotine feeling like with analogs, I dont get the cravings for analogs, but the sudden ahhhh feeling is not there.
I have heen using the 11mg cash liquid on a janty KB and a pilot and a njoy.
I'm assuming 18mg 2-3 drops will equate to about 1 cig with approx 12 puffs to a cig.
I like to do it this way because when it stops vaping I can stop for a while.
thanks

Can someone help me with the math...???
11mg apparently is equal to a 1mg cig if you work by puff counts.
I use zero or low all the time except for when I get a craving and then I have a couple of drops of high. That means I don't develop tolerance and get a buzz when I want it. I allow myself up to 1ml of 18mg per day plus as much zero or low as I want OR 2ml of 11mg.
You might not find vaping satisfies you at all, sometimes it isn't just about nicotine tolerance - Vaping is not a complete substitute for tobacco smoking

Thank you Kate,
I think I'll try that 1 ml of 18 or 2ml of 11mg to start.
So.. just to clarify If I drip 2-3 drops of 11mg that should be roughly equal to 1 analog assuming I puff about 12 times on a cig?

I wish I could just say yes.
That is indeed what the maths says and the best answer I can give. Other people may have different measurements and we have no scientific or accurate measurements to settle the matter yet.
Measuring by puff count is tricky. We all draw differently and in different amounts. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...fs-per-ml.html
Apparently that is true for smoking too. Machine smoking measurements are not thought to be very accurate.
Drip sizes also differ, there aren't always 20 drips in a ml (or 0.05ml per drip).
My view is that the only accurate way to know how much nicotine you are getting is to go by mg per ml per day.

True, I'll try measureout 2 ml and see how fast I go through that and meter myself back from there.
Thanks!
