Default Is it supposed to burn that bad?

I am about a pack and a half to 2 pack a day smoker. I just got a kr808d-1 and heard this brand has a good throat hit and good vapor which I thought is what I would need.
However this is a different throat hit then I was expecting. I wasn't expecting it to be so harsh.

It's not really a good throat hit, it feels more like a very sharp burn in my throat that I never feel with analogs. I know it's going to be different then analogs, but I didn't imagine it would hurt this bad. I am using ejuice from v4l(peanut butter, root beer, and dark chocolate) and another one called usa blend.

Am I doing something wrong or is it supposed to hurt like that? I put 18 drops of fluid in the cart and let it sit for around 5 minutes before giving it a try and thats when I took the hit. I get good vapor and the thing is even if I take a very small hit to get very little vapor it still has that very harsh sharp burning sensation.

Forgot to mention the feeling kind of feels like (I don't know if any of you have done this) But if you take a big hit off of an analog and swish it around in your mouth for a little while and then inhale it, it stings and hurts really badly. Thats what this feels like on every hit.

It's definitely a different sensation. And it seems to be different for a lot of people. Some take to it immediately, while others cough and choke until they get the hang of it.
Try taking the vapor into your mouth before you inhale. Maybe that will help. You really can't puff on them exactly like a cigarette.
    Good Luck

You need to get a different e-juice! Go with something vg based instead of pg. And try a lower nic level because the higher the nic level, the more throat hit.
also you could experiment with different flavors. the tobacco flavors are usually the harshest

Agree with Katmar on maybe not direct inhaling at first. Is it PG or VG? Anyway, you'll probably find that you're not so sensitive to it after a little while. First couple hits in the morning are like that...then the rest of the day not so much. Sometimes I find myself missing that rough tingle and direct inhale a ton. Give it a lil' time 'course with either PG or VG there's a slight chance your body doesn't like whichever it is, but you wouldn't know that immediately unless you had really crummy symptoms.

#1, It takes a few days to adjust to vapor instead of smoke.

#2, If you are direct inhaling, taking the vapor strait into your lungs, stop.
Slowly inhale into the mouth and then inhale into your lungs. Direct inhale of vapor is MAJOR TH.

#3, What nic level is your juice? Higher the level, more TH. I ask because V4L High is 36mg, which is very high.

It took me about 3 days to adjust to the vapor from my kr8. I was a 2 pack a day newport smoker. You have to relearn how to vape, it is not the same as drawing on an analog.

Start out with smaller drags,Then when you adjust, take slow, longer, easy drags into your mouth, and then inhale.
Its nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

Yeah, I have been taking larger drags and kind of rolling them around in my mouth before inhaling. The weird thing is even if I take a very small drag and get very little vapor it still hurts pretty bad. I had another e-cig a year ago that had good vapor but the cart did not and would not last at all so I was thrown off of vaping for quite a while. And that one did not feel like this. Thats what I am not understanding.

It took a couple days for me to get used to it. I do notice the KR808's give off a little bit harsher hit, compared to my other atties.
