Menthol Crystals in Everclear

So I dissolved some menthol crystals in about 5ml of Everclear. I intend to add the menthol-Everclear to some straight VG for a no-nic menthol e-liquid. I want max menthol impact - how much Everclear can I add to the PG and still have a mildly comfortable vape?

Doing some more research I see that a lot of people are dissolving the crystals right in their e-liquid. Too late for me now, I was hoping the Everclear would dissolve the crystals better and also thin the VG (thinner liquids seem to work better in cartomizers for me). So is a 50/50 ratio of VG to menthol-Everclear too much Everclear? Will it still vape well? I don't want to waste it.

I also read that the solution should be "murky" if it is ready to use. If it is murky doesn't that mean that it is not fully dissolved?

Any answers/tips from you experienced DIYers out there would be appreciated.

Mary Kay presented an outstanding idea just a couple of days ago. Being that you use cartomizers it's well suited for you and your experiment.

Mix your liquid in the small condoms that the cartos are shipped/boxed in. This way you'll never waste more than a ml or two.

I would start at 90% VG and 10% of the mentholated everclear, btw. 50-50 seems way too much menthol to me.

You just made yourself some really really strong menthol drops. They're perfect for what you want though, but you can't vape em straight. The way you need to use them, (for what you want), is to add a few drops to some vg (or vg/pg mix). Start off by adding maybe 3 drops MAX to 1 ml, shake it, then drip a few drops on your atty to try it. Not strong enough? Add 1 drop at a time until you find the right mix for you. Keep track of the drops, because once you get it right, you'll have a menthol mix that is easy to replicate, (by counting the drops per ml).

Thanks guys. Menthol aside, what is the max ratio of Everclear to VG that will still result in a decently vapable mix? Anyone have feedback on that?
