    Arrow ~Free Custom E-Cig Decals~ by D.Crist

Hey, so I was thinking about painting my e-cig, but I didn't like the permanent nature of it, I wanted to be able to change it whenever I felt like it, so being an artist (both traditional and graphic)I thought of the idea of making decals. So far I've been playing around and made a "long-ash" one, a ghost-busters device one, and have saved a bunch of images for circuit board decals, tribal designs, rusty diamond plated steel, etc. I haven't had a chance to pick up any adhesive printer paper, but when I do I'll post some pictures.

Anyway, if you have adhesive paper (or you can use cafe-press, see below) and you're interested, let me know the length of your battery (in millimeters) from the atomizer end to the point where it meets the LED cap, and the diameter of your battery in millimeters. You can get the diameter by wrapping a strip of paper around it and marking it with a pen and measuring the paper strip. I will be adding a bleed of a couple of millimeters, so give me the exact diameter, don't add anything to the length yourself.

Then, tell me what kind of design you want. I'd prefer something a little more complex then say just re-sizing an image to fit the battery, I could put a custom logo on one end, all different kinds of formatted text, custom patterns, etc. Basically if you can picture it as a 2D image then I can probably do it.

I only ask that if I make you one that you post pictures of it on your e-cig. And a tip for making sure you can easily remove them: stick it to your shirt a couple of times before putting on the e-cig and it will become a little less adhesive and come off more easily when you want to take it off. I've also heard that there is "removable adhesive paper" but I don't know the availability of it or how well it works.

Alternatively, instead of buying and printing the decal yourself you can have it printed by Cafe-Press for $3. Their stickers are printed on 4mil vinyl using water and UV resistant inks – meaning no fading in the sun or bleeding in the rain. http://www.cafepress.com/cp/customiz...ear=true&no=50

The long ash one would be hilarious.

What kind of adhesive paper are we talking about here? This sounds fab. I wanna try it. Could you do a gorgeous tropical sunset?

You might wanna check with Tasdad, he has been working with skinz for ecigs - I think vinyl, not sure though.

Great idea. Barbed wires, lightning, electrical charges and blue smoke ( separately ) would look cool I think.

Any kind of adhesive paper that you want that can be found at your local store. Obviously the more money you spend on it the higher the quality will be, but having made decals for ipods, I recommend some kind of glassy paper such as vinyl like you mentioned. Just make sure it isn't cut into pre-sized cells like for return address labels.

I need the dimensions of your battery though nicowolf.

And what is skinz? Do you happen to have a link?

For anyone who's curious, this is the "Long Ash" decal, designed for the RN4081 (65mm length by 30mm diameter, but it can be resized):

For some reason it looks a lot smaller on the computer screen, but I just double checked the image size and it's accurate, I guess maybe it's my monitor resolution.

I was looking into this Idea myself. Not to sell, but simply because you just can't find a Bantha Skull decal in a small enough size to fit on a penstyle atomizer.

a good place to get paper:
DecalPaper.com - Decals - Waterslide decal paper or inkjet, laser printers Alps & copiers

Thanks for the link. I'd be happy to do it if you want. Just give me the details.

Here's the Ghostbusters one; it's nothing too amazing, I was just having fun when I was bored [EDIT-****, I don't think I saved the final version, the background isn't supposed to be all black it's supposed to be plated steel with exposed wires and stuff, ****, I'm so pissed off at myself right now]:

And you asked them if they could make you a couple of e-cig sized ones? And I was actually looking for a link to this "skinz" company. Do you plan to ever expand to more then 5 designs?
