How did everyone find thier favorite e-cig?

I myself saw all these ads for bluCig. I went to the website, watched the skinny blonde chick give her pitch and what not, and started trying to find an e-cig. I had never seen one in a store or mall in my parts, so I did some amazon and ebay searches just to see what they might cost. I tried to actually order a bluCig, but at the time, they were on 5-6 year backorder, so I did not bother...

Amazon at the time had a Health E-cigarette for $13. I decided to order one and see what happened.

When it arrived, I was pretty impressed. It had good vapor for a bit then was not as good. After I went thru ~3 carts, I realized I could definetly do this, but not with this model. So I started to look around.

I found this place, and after a few posts and some suggestions, I figured why not try a 510 from cignot.com ... $35 for a full 2 e-cig kits and some carts.... the rest is history. Haven't had a cig since November, and I have a great model e-cig with some liquids I really like.

My favorite e-cig was found because of the forum. It is the 510, and I got it from cignot. Would not want another model now.

Saw a disposable at the gas station. Made me curious so I did a search for "electronic cigarette" and found this forum. Started out on the 901 because I knew I wouldn't want throat hit (since I never liked it when smoking analogs). Love my 901 but it's too much hassle so got a vapor king (V4L kr808) and fell in love. We're living happily ever after and plan on retiring to Fiji after we find the right juice.

I saw my first e-cig at a trade show and was impressed. Before then I thought e-cigs were an absurd idea. I found a Npro locally and it helped me cut down on analogs but battery problems were frustrating. Then I found ECF!!! The info here led me to a cheap 510 kit that worked great but battery life was still a problem. I found that a lot of people had good reviews of the ego/tornado and I ordered a TW Tornado. I haven't had a analog since!!! Thanks ECF for all of the info!!!

When we were on vacation last October, a friend had an electronic cigar, which intrigued me. When we got home, I started doing some research and stumbled onto the ECF. Consensus here seemed to point to either the 510 or the KR8. The simplicity of the 2-piece design appealed to me, so I wound up ordering a couple Vapor King kits from Vapor4Life. It's been over 4 months now, and I have been very happy with the VK. I also have some 901 atty's that I use for dripping occasionally, but they are messy. I also recently ordered a Precise from Super-T that I plan to use predominantly with cartomizers. While I do enjoy using a 5v pass-thru from time to time, I am quite satisfied with the cartomizers at 3.7 volts.

Reading online geek trade show comments downplaying e cigs.
Luckily the bloggers shot back defending them which peaked my interest. Did a ton of research, then placed my order

"my favorite" e cig was found after searching these groups and being better able to define what mattered to me.

I was already vaping on a Protege and kept on seeing so many viewers on the V4L forum threads. I was so intrigued with the 2 pc that I ended up getting one. Now it is my favorite and I take it everywhere with me. The Protege is for my home base.

Got a Nova disposable from Beyond Technologies and liked it. Went thru the forums and saw the 501 from cignot was the way to go. The rest is history...
