    Default quick fix for atomizer?...

So I just finished my 45-minute commute to work and realized that my atomizer isn't producing ANY vapor. I am guessing this means it's dead? I received my dse901b 1 week ago, it is my first e-cig, and I've been off analogs since day #1. Now I'm at work, my spare atomizer at home, and I'll be here for the next 9 hours...

Is there a quick fix or something I can try to get it going? I'm just surprised that it died so suddenly...

Okay, apparently it had to do with my battery. It was a newly charged battery and was lighting up, so I assumed it was fine. I tried my backup and it worked! Then I put my original battery on and it's working now as well.
Any ideas on why that happened?
Regardless, I'm happy! :-) Time to complete day 8 of no analogs...

Sounds like you may have hit the cut off...if you take more than 16 (or so) drags on it in under a minute it will shut down for a cool off time...I think this it standard for most e-cigs. Also the first battery may be drained. I know when I drive to work (about 45min) and vape all the way there...it kills my battery.

    Hope this helps..

If it was still lighting up but you were not getting vapor.. try cleaning the battery... sometimes that means you got juice on it. Just use somethign that doesn't leave a lot of "fuzz" behind. (papertowel.. not tissue or TP). Make sure it is dry of fluid. Also... maybe leave that battery with the LED side facing UP in a pen holder or something for a few hrs to be sure it is dry inside.

    PS.. congrats on 7.5 days!!!

And did you learn a lesson to always take extras with you? You never know when anything is going to go on these. Better to be safe than sorry.

    Yes, lesson learned! :-)
As for the causes, it was my absolutely first drag of the day. I had just topped off the cartridge and put 2 drops on the atomizer... No flashing lights, just the standard blue light with the complete absence of smoke.

Glad you revived this thread - nice picture of Ringo

As for your ecig atomizer - we'll need more info as to model - I'm guessing it's what's called a supermini but that's a guess. One reason an atomizer isn't putting out vapor is that it is flooded. Somehow -either from dripping juice onto the atomizer directly OR overfilling the cartridge which then flows into the atomizer flooding it.

Solution: unscrew the atomizer from the ecig battery, remove the cartridge and blow on the threaded end of the atomizer into a paper towel at the other end and blow the juice out. Blow hard and several times until you're not getting any more wetness on the paper towel and then put it back together and try again.

If you have a supermini - one that looks most like a cigarette and .... well if you have one, then take slow draws like you're drinking a thick shake through a straw - this gets the best vapor production out of this style of ecig. Easy slow draw.... build up a good draw etc.

You can only start a thread in the New Members Area.
Once you do, a few more details would be helpful.
