Greetings! When I was smoking analogs, I liked the feeling of inhaling in my lungs. Yeah, sounds weird I know ![]() Many people here talk about 'throat hit' and I'm assuming they mean literally in the throat. I personally never liked this...I always hated cigarettes that made my throat feel scratchy and burning (marlboro lights did that to me). I was a Camel Light smoker for about 20 years, and they always hit me in my chest/lungs, not in my throat. I am looking for a 'tobacco' flavored e-juice that has that same feeling. Not a throat hit...more of a chest hit. Anyone know what I mean? So far I have tried only 4 flavors of juice: -Camel High and Regular High from e-smokeytreats.com -Riskee Yuice and Marlboro High from Puresmoker.com The Camel and Regular gave me the chest hit I am looking for. So far these are my favorites. The Riskee gives me the chest hit, but also the throat burn that I don't like. The Marlboro was all throat burn and scratch...I will be saving that as my emergency juice. So, I know that it's probably different for everyone, but can you guys recommend some more juices that hit the chest/lungs rather than the throat? Cheers! -Cal |

To me, throat hit is the feeling that resembles a "tickle" where the throat meets the sternum. You know? Tough to explain through text.

I smoked Camel Lights for 20 years as well and I know exactly what you are talking about. It's almost like a taste thing way down in there. I have begun to wonder if it isn't a particle size issue in the vapor. I have read some stuff that talks about the actual particle size of the vapor droplets in the smoke of different cigarettes. It actually does matter what size the droplets are in terms of exactly where in the broncheal tubes the nicotine gets absorbed. I think that might have alot to do with that feeling you are talking about. I only have one vaporizer- the 901 - and I have read that the impression alot people have of it is that it is perhaps overly smooth and lacking impact. Some folks talk about other vaporizers as having hotter vapor and more of a true smoking sensation. I am pretty certain that hotter atomizers make smaller vapor droplets that might give more of that lung feel by getting deeper into the lungs before condensing. I am ordering an ecigar this week with a higher power battery to see if this is true. Anyone else with more experience feel like I am on the right track here?

Get a M401 and some good e-juice and you'll swear you're smoking an analog. I smoked a pack a day of marlboro menthols for 7 years. The M401 is the true replacement. Just make sure you buy a couple extra atomizers. |

Is the m401 the Pilot? I know exactly what calaban is talking about. This is the reason so far, why I can't seem to give up analogs. I like vaping and I have cut down on analogs, but still can't quit analogs.

Good replies.....I will have to look into the 401. All I have is a 901 and like I said, certain juices give me the hit I am looking for. Others, not so much. But if the 401 is more consistent and cigarette-like, it's definitely worth looking into. I have not smoked an analog in over one week either way, so I'm pretty damned happy ![]() -Cal |

As a test, try experimenting with fast inhales versus a longer inhale you would normally do with an analog. Let us know what differece, if any, you notice to the experience.

| Johnson Creek Original Smoke Juice - The Best E-Liquid in the World - Made Right Here in America Try these guys. The flavors are more robust and the juice feels a bit thicker, so when you take big drags it hits you pretty hard and you get a ton of flavor. I sometimes get the Puresmoker Marlboro flavor on purpose *because* it's harsh like Marlboros tend to be. I recommend JC's Tennessee Cured. It's like a cigar almost. And Mint if you like menthol and want more of the mint flavor and less of the fake tobacco (compared to PS's menthol flavor). |

If you haven't already tried some Totally Wicked makes some juice with quite a kick. I've tried the Tobacco,Camel, and Virginia so far in 36mg and they pack quite a wallop.
