New DES 901 tastes bad

Is it the primer? I have been using a super mini 4081 and it always had a sweet taste. I am using prefilled carts and the Marlboro liquid. I only refill each cart 2 or 3 times. Or could it just be that the carts for the 901 are different? The carts that I have for the 4081 are from two different suppliers, but taste the same. Any ideas? I added a couple of drops of Wilton's but it doesn't seem to help much. Thanks!

When I got mine, it took a while for the nasty taste to get out. I just kept vapin and it went away after awhile, I forgot how long it was tho.

i got the same weird taste too...i just put a drop of juice on the ataomizer and after a few good puffs..the bad taste went away

I hate primer juice, what I do is right before I use a new atomizer I blow it out before I use it. Then I pop in a new cartridge and wait a minute or 2 for the liquid to wick. Refill the cartridge again then start vaping.

This is my first experience with the primer. The super mini didn't have it. This atomizer was soaked in it though.

My first ecig was a true dse901, but I bought my spare atomizer from a different supplier (turns out it is a rn4075). The dse901 tastes great, the rn4075 tastes metallic. Have had it almost a month and it still hasn't gone away I only have the two atomizers, so I don't know if it has anything to do with the different brands, or if I just got a dud.

Ah, that sucks! I hope that isn't the case here. I have another atomizer on the way. This one is getting a little better though. I am thinking that I may be getting use to this flavor too and may need something a little sweet.

keep puffing on it but don't inhale. Once that primer is burned off, you'll be fine.
