    Default My Dura-C arrived!

Well, the good news is that my Dura-C arrived. The bad news is that my order was incomplete, missing several boxes of cartridges without any explanation. I also haven't received replacement parts for my old Dura as well as my Kissbox, all of which were sent to Jeff back in mid-February.

I'm sooooooo hoping that the new Dura-C lives up to expectations. I'll be reporting back once I've charged batteries.

Sun--I know what you mean about the Dura being a less than stellar experience. For the first two weeks, it was like heaven. Oh, the carts leaked, but that was a small price to pay for such an amazing vape. But then the problems with the batteries started, and it was all downhill from there.

I learned a lesson . . . wait two weeks before raving about a product.

As for the incomplete order, I'm pretty disappointed. There was $25 worth of product missing, without any explanation.

On top of that, I had sent back several defective pieces (two atomizers for the Kissbox, 2 batteries for the Dura, and the Dura PCC). I had told Jeff that I could wait for those parts, and they could be shipped with my Dura-Cs to help save him some shipping costs. Well, they weren't included with my Dura-Cs.

Also, when it became clear that it was going to be awhile for the Dura-Cs to ship, I asked to add to my order to save on postage. Jeff told me to email him my list, and he'd send me a manual bill before shipping so that I could pay via PayPal and not incur additional shipping charges. Never did receive the bill, and, of course, the liquids weren't included. There was no notice that my order shipped . . . just arrived in my mailbox today.

I know that things have been crazy. It sounds like they've moved, which is a huge stressor in and of itself. Add on top of that all of the problems with the Dura, as well as the increase in demand for e-cigs in general, well, it's not surprising that customer service wouldn't be in top form. However, this is really disappointing.

I've sent Jeff an e-mail detailing all of this, and I hope I'll be able to report back that my concerns have been addressed.

In the meanwhile, I will most certainly give my thoughts on the Dura-C, although I will be reserving judgment until two weeks.

Tolken--I placed my order 2/8 for two Duras. (I was getting another for myself and one for my sister.) When the Dura-C was announced, I switched my order to that. So I'm not sure whether you would count my order as being early February or mid to late February.

Interesting to note that I did NOT receive a shipping notice. Typically, you get an e-mail when your items ship, but I didn't this go around. (And, yes, I routinely check my spam folder just in case.) So your Dura-C may be on its way to you even as we speak. Heck, it could be in your mailbox right now . . . .

    Thumbs up Thanks Julie!

Julie--In advance, thanks for your upcoming expericence posts with the Dura-C. I too have adopted a "wait and see" approch before ordering a new device with all the hip before actual Members like yourself report long term use experiance--Thanks again Julie and hope you can get thinks straightened out with Jeff--he is on overload and Janty should be paying for more staff to support its product--Sun

I got my Dura-C today too...

So far, it seems to be pretty great.

I recieved 2 atomizers (I was only expecting 1) which is pretty awesome.

I have one battery charging, and I couldn't help but try a few vapes with the other battery. This is my first e-cig with a manual switch on it, and I have to say, I really like it. I seem to be getting a lot of vapor.

My only gripe is the carts leak like a... like a.... something that leaks a lot.

I read a post on here from December from Janty stating they would have new carts out within 4 weeks, well its been about 13 weeks, and I definetly have leaky carts. Oh well...

I really hope my Dura's last, my mini foggers were so-so, I had problems with getting consistant smoke, then one of my batteries died, and I mailed it to Jeff (over 2 months ago) and still havent seen a replacement...

Any suggestions on minimizing leak? I am also a bit scared to drip on this atomizer, the coil is real deep in the atomizer, and i am used to dripping on my fogger, I am a bit apprehensive to just throw juice down that pitfall...

    Parliament,
You HAVE to charge the batteries for 12 hours.

The reason you get the juice in your mouth, the reason it's leaking is because the battery has not been charged properly.

I would never drip straight into the new atomizer.
