Well my weight is still the same but my matobolizm is really high as I can eat whatever and never gain weight. I have weighted between 105 and 115 since my high school days and I will be 40 in about 2 weeks. On March 13th I weighed 108.

Well happily I've noticed my appetite has decreased. I could stand to lose some so it puts a smile on my face! Vape on!

I thought I could eat anything cause im skinny but If I drink milkshakes I get fat stomach lol Like not from the liquid from the calories

Actually, I did see some listings on ebay for the "SlimCig - Boosts Metabolism!"...they added hoodia to the carts. Stupid x2.

If you do a search on weight gain in the "health" forum here, there's a long thread about blood sugar and vaping. Although in theory, the nicotine part of both smoking and vaping should be similar, the PG itself will raise blood sugar as well (according to what I read here). This is a concern for diabetics, and to a lesser degree to hypoglycemics (like myself). So, I'm curious...to those of you who find you're "hungry more" after switching to vaping, are you a bit hypoglycemic? If vaping causes blood sugar "spikes" in a way tobacco doesn't, I'm likely going to have problems....

To those of you who say they feel more hungry, do you think this is really the case, or do you think it is more likely to be that e-cigs aren't fully satisfying your cravings and therefore you are looking fo something to fulfil those cravings (in much the same way that people giving up analogues without e-smoking start 'comfort eating')?
PS - I believe that nicotine in itself can increase your metabolism to the tune of around 200-250 calaries a day.

On the e-cigs for a couple of weeks now. I've slowly noticed my appetite increasing - not a "I need munchies" rush, but just a slow, healthy increase.
-
I find that since I started vaping the non tobacco flavors, I don't get the munchies anymore. Especially in the evening watching TV or on the computer.
My theory is if I'm vaping Chocolate Almond Decadence, I just don't feel like munching on some Cheetos or chips. Same for any of the sweet flavored juice.
Just my two cents. I feel like I'm vaping sweet food now, instead of eating crap.

Apparently it satisfies the same neuro-receptors as eating food (esp fatty foods).
But I'm sitting here in front of the computer constantly vaping on 30 mg liquid,
suddenly thinking, god I'm hungry.
But then I've not felt the need to eat since last night until now = 24 hrs.
Since it's probable that we all get much more 'simple' nicotine from e-cigs
than we used to from real cigs, I was wondering if we're all going to waste
away while reading this forum!
I don't know that this is true in my case.
I've consistently used cigarettes as a substitute for eating.
I've gone days without a proper meal, surviving mainly on hard pretzels and Pepsi cola.
I find that my appetite has increased now that I vape. Where once I would awaken in the morning and immediately smoke a cigarette...or 2 or 3, I now have to eat. Even if it's just toast with butter, I have to have some form of breakfast and at least one more meal during the day.
I was on the verge of wasting away before vaping. Now I'm beginning to wonder if I'll turn into an old fat man!

Looks like it's different for each individual.
Perhaps it depends on how much nicotine you are getting now,
compared to when you were smoking real cigs.
