Source for Stainless Steel Wool
I'm going to give this a try:
www dot mcmaster dot com (I can't post URL's yet)
Search for steel wool and they have stainless steel wool (Listed as Rustless Metal Wool) in two types of stainless; 434 & 316. The 316 type is more corrosion resistant and is the type used in food processing equipment if it touches or delivers the product. It comes in small order quantities. Would probably be prudent to give it a bath in alcohol then distilled water before use...
Also, there are synthetic wool pads on the page. Not sure if they are the "scotch brite" type of pads or not.
Teflon would be great, but I've never come across it in a form that we could use for this purpose.
Cheers-
Rick
