    Default wire wool?

Ok so today I have swopped the stuffing in one of my carts to steel wire wool because I am convinced that tiny strands of the polyester type fibre gets melted onto my atomizer's coils and is the main reason I don't have much luck with atomizer's (perhaps I suck harder than most people do.lol) .....all I can say is that so far the wire wool is working great but time will tell.

UPDATE: ....the wire wool didn't work.....and I would say to any one else Please don't try it!....very Tiny bits of wire do break off the wool and it would be very dangerous to inhale those.

I hope you've got stainless steel wire wool Pete, I don't want to hear that you've poisoned yourself.

I tried this in my I-Inhale, it was the only source I could find for stainless steel wool:

Pot scourers. It's a bit rough, I don't know if it would be fine enough for a cartridge. Send me your address if you want me to send you some

Hi Kate...Unfortunately I couldn't get any 'stainless' steel wire wool and you are quite right that it would be much safer to have stainless ..but I think those pot scourers are probably a bit too course to use as a cart material........ my theory is that the juice contains enough 'oil' to prevent the steel from rusting (fingers crossed).......but I am certainly going to keep my eye and my microscope on it! Other than that it's worked perfectly o'k all day. Thanks for the offer of the scourers though....

You may want to take a look at the mesh in old penstyle atomizers. The atomizers come apart very easily and the metal mesh was specifically designed for wicking without hazard. There is a lot of mesh in each 801/RN4072 atomizers that will no longer fire as well as other models. Would be the perfect mesh to use once you have enough collected from a few old atomizers hanging around--Sun

It's a shame really because all they need to do is design the metal mesh they put over the atomizer to fit snugly into the cart so that it ensures that no cart material could possible be drawn out of the cart.

Pete --I have about 15 and the mesh is a very strange type of screening that I have never scene before--but as we all know it does not burn and wicks very well. It is worth a try in the I-Inhale if that is going to be the only device left to buy---I have a pile of it here and it sqeezes into a nice ball--Just a thought that may come in handy if some rainy day comes upon us---Sun
