Ok let me try explain what happened (long story):
Batches where sent out according to schedule, they where picked up by the shipping company. As usual we wait 24 hours for any tracking to show up. No tracking showed up. We contacted the shipping company and they said they did not know what was going on, that everything should be ok and that they would get back to us. 48 hours later they got back to us stating they would return the batch to us because of some arrest in HK. We received the batch back. We contacted another shipping company. They came and picked up the batch but the next day they called us with the same explanation and returned the batch. We then found another solution and where about to ship again when the previous shipping company contacted us stating there where issues with HK but they where resolved. So again they came and picked up. Now can you imagine that 48 hours later they said the batch was held up by customs HK and 24 hours later they told it had been shipped out and was in the plane.

From then on all was ok and the batch arrived at JEFF's and he is now unpacking, sorting and will be shipping the orders out.

Please note: NEW KISSBOXES ARE IN ANOTHER BATCH THAT IS BEING SHIPPED SATURDAY AND WILL ARRIVE TUESDAY IN THE US).

Very beginning of April another big batch will arrive as well containing new DURA-C's and MINI FOGGERS as well as plenty of Software...

Jeff will post status messages on the forum with order numbers sent out or ready to be sent out.

Again we are really sorry for the circumstances. We will stock up more in the US to avoid serious shortage in the future.

As Ludo mentioned the shipment has finally arrived. We have finished unpacking and will be processing orders throughout the night. We hope to finish up the bulk of orders by tomorrow morning.

We will be emailing tracking information once we have packed your order. These will ship out in the morning and should arrive in 2-3 days depending on your location. Many of you that were waiting on Mini-Foggers or accessories will also be getting packed up tonight. If anyone has any questions or needs additional information email me personally at info@jantyusa.com

Thanks,
Jeff

Ludo,

Thank you! It wasn't that hard. Now we know what's really happening here.

Is it American customs or HK customs that is stopping the stuff? We need to know who to put the hit out on.....

Seriously, THANK YOU for explaining the situation. These types of explanations help. While it may confirm the FDA may be "getting the upper hand", it does show us that you are doing what you can and that the law is getting in the way.

Have you considered opening up a mixing plant and factory in the USA to try and eliminate such issues in the future? If China already has the process down, I can't see how difficult it would be to pick up the pace in production in the various countries.

Just thoughts.

Again, thanks!

You know, I never mentioned this before.....but I do have to say something.

When you demand answers and action from Janty, they do deliver.

For example, I sent an email to Jeff awhile back complaining about the $6.00 Paypal fee that they charged. Well, they don't charge it anymore.

So, they do listen.

BTW, because of your response, I just bought 4 bottles of Fargo and 2 chargers for my batteries (we vape too much...one finally died after 8 months...which is pretty good. So, I figured I'd get two more to keep up with our activities. )

Thank you guys. You deserved the further business from me. You do listen and I wanted to make sure you *see* that action = money.

FDA is not really an issue, or at least ahum... we know how to tackle that issue, so no worries from that side. It is really a HK arrest issue, whereby shipping companies are being investigated by HK government. Lawyers engaged by the shipping companies have engaged with the HK government. As far as we can tell there is no reason for HK to have interference in shipping transit zones, they just had to be reminded of that I guess

Anyway, we now have an alternative shipping as back up, so if anything should go wrong in the future, we will switch to plan B. It might take a bit longer to arrive but we will add more.

That explains recent orders... but I've had an order sitting here since Feb. 10, and a replacement Kissbox atomizer I've been waiting for since Feb 8. I never have recieved another email, notification, or even a notice that they weren't in stock.

It's one thing to have to wait over a month for a product, but to do it without even the courtesy of an out-of-stock notice is pretty bad customer service, move or no move. It's not the customer's responsibility to go search out the Q&A section for a manufacturer on a forum to find out that there's moves or shipping issues. I've been waiting a month for a product that's been panned pretty severely. I'm not a happy customer and find that while Jeff is a nice guy, Janty as a company has subjected him to far more than his share of headaches in something even as basic as communications via the website technology.

Nice explanation, but doesn't explain why myself and at least one other who's spoken in these threads on this board have been waiting since early February for even news on our orders. A 48 hour shipping delay doesn't cover that. Would you care to elaborate on it for us?

Did you email info@jantyusa.com?

I know the other addresses aren't as closely monitored.

Just curious. Don't think I'm making any excuses...as you saw, I already did my blasting. But let's get all this stuff out in the open, see them resolved, and move forward?

I'm betting that the HK government officials were looking for a little under the table payments desiring to abuse their power. Kinda like AIG and GM here in the states....

Right off their website on the contact form. If they're not monitoring that and it's their main retail communication channel...

yes pls, for specific issues mail Jeff and if you do not get an immediate response then just forward that mail again the next day. He is swamped, not because of the orders, he is swamped because of the move and all other problems with batches we had, give it till mid next week and all should be resolved...

I wish I could something to help from here but I do not handle orders or questions about orders because I have no access to that information.

I am heavily occupied with the JANTY STICK and will be finalizing the tests by 10 April after which production should start. The JANTY STICK has been tested by 1 member on this forum and 2 others on other forums in secret. The results are perfect asides form one minor "glue" problem. The CAMEO is being designed and will be tested in April, but I do not foresee any major problems.

We will send out 10 JANTY STICKS to random members on this forum to give their impression before we put them up for sale.
