    Default Memory foam?

Ok so because I don't like the possibility that threads of the polyester type cart material might be able to get melted onto the atomizer coil...I am experimenting with different cart materials....and today it's the turn of Memory foam!

The idea being that there are no threads in foam ....and I thought Memory foam with it's desire to always maintain it's shape may make it keep in far better contact with the wire mesh bridge.
So I cut and shaped a piece to just fit nicely without being squashed into my pen-style atomizer cart, at first I had to make the foam suck up some juice because it won't easily absorb into the foam until it's actually wet and once it's wet it will absorb extra drips of juice quite easily. I am finding that if I want to vape all the time I do need to keep adding a couple of drips but if I only have a few mins vape and then a break it seems to give the foam enough time to wick some more juice to the front of the foam and hence onto the metal mesh...so it doesn't need topping up.

So far the foam is working pretty good but as usual only time will tell!

I think you're moving into dangerous territory using foam. Foam is usually treated with flame retardant chemicals. May be harmful if inhaled

That could be a good point.....I washed the foam well and hopefully those chemicals are 'fixed' into the foam material and cannot leach out into the juice.

Organic sea foam is still on the list!! I can't seem to find anywhere that sells the real thing though.

I am getting quite excited about this memory foam as a cart filling.....at first I have to keep on adding extra drops because it seems to take a while to fully absorb the juice..but once it is finally full it seems to wick the juice onto the atomizer mesh at just the right speed for the way I vape....there doesn't seem to be any excess juice running down the side of my cart when I take it out. ......it's showing promise.

Why don't you just dip it into the juice bottle until its saturated instead of dripping juice into it?
