yes i thought it would.. i have had two different paint finishes on my replacement dse901 type atomizers.. the original very shiny white ones with the gold lettering on.. this seems very durable.. almost damage proof.. and some plain matt finish white ones with no lettering.. the plain finish comes off rather like normal paint would.. not as durable..

    Default JANTY CARTRIDGES

    JANTY CARTRIDGES

Has anyone tried taking a Janty cartridge apart? I did and had a surprise.

First of all the filter material is twice as much as the two other brands I have (Meltrex’s and NJoy’s).

Secondly, they have a clear slightly gummy substance running from top to bottom on one side of the filter material. Somewhat like the spine of a book.

They are very hard to take out without shredding them to pieces.

At first, I thought maybe I oversmoked them until they were dry and the filter material was burning itself to the inner part of the cartridge.

Now I don’t know why the filter material is so hard to extract. Is it cause it is so thick or is it because that gummy material is gluing the filter material to the inner cartridge. Perhaps for both reasons

I think that gummy sticky stuff is a glue.

It's easy to take the stuffing out with tweezers.

The stuff looks exactly what's in my pillows..........

polyfil, or polyester is what is in your pillows most likely.

I do use tweezers sanneke. Maybe I have to learn to be more surgical in the removal process.

So you do think it is glue! Another substance we need to be concerned with!

Don't think you need to be concerned about glue sniffing. The glue never comes in contact with any part of the atomizer, so it likely does not vaporize (but we await the VOC findings from New Zealand to be certain). Your filter fiber, however, can easily come in contact with the hot wire inside an atomizer. That's why Dr. Loi says to flush these things daily. Stray fibers might vaporize and you'd end up inhaling ... we still don't know, do we? In the case of E-Cig, I think it's polyester. And that would not be healthy.

The same mystery substance is also on the filter material of the refills that I got from e-cig. Those are also difficult to remove. I don't know what it is either, but it does appear to function to hold the filter inside the cartridge. I don't know why that would be necessary. It reminds me of silicone.

The Ruyan filters do not have the sticky strip, and they come out of the cartridge very easily.

I make pillows and cushions etc.

I use this filling for cushions sometimes.
It is the same as what's in the cartridges.

In the pic, the fiber on the right was in a cartridge that came with my kiss.
the fiber on the left is what I use for filling cushions.

I cut some the same size as a cartridge, put liquid in it, and smoked it.
    It the same thing!
    It works just like it.

I only took a couple of puffs, because I do not know if it's safe to do that.
