Nice! I think the satin ggtb that I have matches the RES so well. I just wish the satin finish wasn't coming off

I could strip it off so it's all brass but brass is so much work to keep clean. I might paint it like Darth Octane's GGTB.

i have no idea on how its done. I was too much chicken even to follow Para's instructions on turning the nickel telescope into brass...

Only problem with the res is juice in the mouth. I know everything has a learning curve but is there any tricks/tips??

Actually mine is powdercoated. I took a brand new aluminum one with nickle caps and had it powdercoated right out of the wrapper. Let me just say not for the faint of heart as cleaning the threads after is a real treat. I ended up buying a full set of taps and dies to match the threads. Thanks to Imeo for giving me all the sizes.
