Default Anyone else lose a GG like me and upset that the person that found it wouldn't even know what it was?

Not only did I lose an all brass gg slim about a year ago, I also lost a brass ggtb! My luck with GG has been bad, I need a lanyard or something. It wouldn't be as upsetting if more people in my neck of the woods were vapers and knew what they were used for, but my guess is whoever found them just through them in a drawer or thought they were a flashlight or something. If you are reading this and you found a brass gg slim or ggtb though, congratulations on my misfortune.Anyone else have a sob story?

Had a parachute stolen in a home robbery years ago. NO way they could have used it as the reserve was near a required repack, and the rigger would have checked on it.

So how did you lose it? Mine is a) in my hand b) in my pocket c) on my desk d) in the cup holder of the car.. that's it. That and I've got a habit of hand checks.. hand on butt. Wallet; check. hand on right pocket; phone; check. Hand on left pocket; keys; check. hand in coat pocket: GG; check. It's an odd little ritual.

Man I hate to hear of lost GG's. I have to admit though the biggest risk a GG is at risk fo being lost from me is while it is in transit via USPS, etc.

I am like Zo with my little rituals. Even though I am retired, I have folks that I sent away for 25 years plus that are getting out now so I still carry my creds and sidearm where ever I go. My top 3 items are Badge/ID case - check! Glock - check! GG - check! Spare clip and extra carto/juice - check!

Beyond that, I am lucky if I remember to put my pants on!

Mine is a well crafted ritual.. Without pants, the first check fails

And I see I've lost another letter.. Imeo goes for Zog, now I'm down to Zo.. funny, as it's just an anagram for Gomez, which was taken :/ . Maybe I'll just try and cut to the chase and try for 'G'.

When I leave my place for some days I spend some time to find a new place to hide my GGs (GGTS and iAtty) in case someone breaks into my house, you should see the funny places where I hide my GGs. I am on a travel right now, last night before I pack, I hid my GGs under an ironing board

I was on a jury for a mass murderer. My ritual is similar... Pants (I have to remember too )... check, Wallet... check, GG... check, My best friend Ed (Ed Brown 1911 ) check... extra mag... check.
My dirt bag isn't getting out (he is a genius and nearly committed the perfect quadruple execution style murders, he now is sitting on Death row) his son however, is smarter than him, more crafty, a free man, and knows my name. (He was without a doubt, involved in the planning and execution of the plan) It's ok! My Belgian Malinois, and my friend Ed are my protectors (That and a lot of practice and drills... Until it all becomes completely fluid and pure muscle memory)

I keep leaving them places, I remember right away, but one of these days I'm going to lose one -- and I'll be just as unhappy as you are...
