Agreed my dry burning tends to pop mine every 4 days. Maybe it is the .16mm Nichrome I have been using.

I'm using the 32ga kanthal and xc-116 wick

I'm still on my first coil and wick... 7 weeks now of course I'm using nextel wick and a 2ohm coil at 5.5v and quality juice made by me No gunk... no drop in performance
