Default # 14 Super Slim has arrived, got some pictures

Today he came in the mail; absolutly beautiful. I thought it would be a 901 but it's a native 808 connection. I forgot that it is high voltage, used a 2ohm carto, got a great vape for about 1 minute and blew the carto. Put a 510 connector on and am now using 5 ohm cartos.
I love the SS, can't wait to get the right cartos; no need to use an adapter if I can use HV 808 cartos.
A few questions though (an sorry if they are rather naive again). batteries go negative side on button and anothet negative on top making connection with the carto?
My drip tip got very hot, had to switch it to a rubber one, any idea why?
Tried to get as close up as possible to show the top, but my camera isn't that good.
The SS is in great shape, a few scratches and it probably needs a good cleaning.
I would like to send it to somebody who really knows how to make clean it right and buff out the few scratches, do you guys know a good place?
Anyhow, it vapes great a 7 volts, lots of vapor and the batteriy life isn't that bad, thus far I;ve chain vaped since 30 minutes and beside the hot mouth piece, it's al good.
One more thing, I got a Trustfire multi charger and it seems that only one battery lights up red, the rest are supposedly charged, but i doubt it, maybe it;s the charger?
Here's the link to the album...

It's getting hot because you are running 7 volts and 5 ohm resistance. I don't know the amps, but you should be producing about 10 watts....That's no small amount.

Since are stacking batteries, it's a good idea to label them in pairs, rotate, and make sure you have a really good charger.

    Nice, Silver!

Not familiar with those so can't help you there.

I do know that a trip to Imeo would have it as good as new though.

    Congrats!

Wow, beautiful pv. No1 besides for imeo has the chutzpah to make a 7.4v dedicated mod, and I couldn't be happier because of it! I hope you really enjoy it silver, it's gorgeous!

it's a 901/808...they'll both work just fine. keep the batteries in the same direction, neg. end on bottom, and pos. end of top battery toward atty/carto..that will keep the body as the neg. ground. even though it fits, you should consider a dedicated charger for smaller batteries like those 10440s. those batteries, despite any label, are only about 250mAh, which means they should be charged no faster than 250mA/ .25mA, and i believe the trustfire multicharger charger is pushing twice that. consider something like this one instead, or another charger that won't pump more than 250mA per channel into the battery.

Thank you. I might as well order 2 since I wil have to use lots of batteries throughout the day. I couldn't find protected 1440's there, could I use unprotecred ones? And since the threading fits both 901/808 would you by chance know of a vendor selling high voltage cartos so I don't have to use an adapter? Thanks again for your advice.

i wouldn't recommend unprotected batteries to you (even the imr variety, as i haven't seen any tests that show those batteries are any more capable and therefore of any different chemistry than a regular unprotected li-ion), but of course the option is there. and sorry, i really don't know of a carto that can wick effectively at 7.4V and not burn the filler, but i haven't used cartos in a long while so there may be something new and improved out now.
