Battery Springs?
Anyone know where I can get at least one?
COV is out of stock at the moment, and I'm in "desperate" need of one.
Mine is kinda squished, and my GG is running hot.

I made one out of a paper clip by straightening it out and winding it around a thin pair of pliers. It held up fine until I could get one from CoV. No joke!

I like pen springs personally.
You can use the GGTS without the spring. I use mine like that all the time, just be aware that if you feel your button hot you have a short and you should stop and check your atty, ody, iatty etc. It actually hit very well without the spring

I bought all they had this week. I ended up with a bad battery and by the time I realized it I ruined 2 springs so I stocked up just in case.

I did a tear down/rebuild and even with the squished spring, it's working much better.
I don't know what I did in the first place. I'm usually careful with measuring and what not.
But it's hopefully fixed now.
I haven't tried it without the spring.... thought it was "supposed" to be there.

You had a short almost for sure, the spring got red hot and shrank. GGTS without spring works fine - if you have the fusekit installed you also don't have a battery spring, so the spring is more of a convenience feature.
Anyways - great that you have a new spring and its always nice to see people helping each other out!
