cant get aw 17670 battery in my GGTB

Hi Folks
got a problem. I bought my GGTB tube when Imeo sent the new ss ones. i usually do 6 volts by using two 3.0 v tenergys batteries but wanted to use a HH357 LR atty on it so i tried to put a 17670 AW 1600 mAh in the tube and it wouldnt go. I thought it took 17670 but maybe im wrong. i have a bunch of 17670 so tried them all so the battery isnt swollen. is the GGTB tube too tiny? I wouldnt even think of cleaning the inside out with some 400 grit sandpaper cause the threads will get ruined. any suggestions

I had to take the stickers off my aw 17670 batteries. Give it a shot.
