I have finally made my first successful coil for my Penelope. My first attempt didnt work at all and I know I screwed up the coil lol. This is my first rebuildable and I can tell you the days of chinese attys is over and done. I only vape my own homemade juice and it hasnt tasted this good since I first started vaping two years ago.

Imeo you are a genius. Im using my stealth and can only imagine vaping Penelope with 5 or 6 volts. I cant wait to mate her with Proteus. Only problem is Im out of wire (ordered some and its on the way) so this coil needs to last at least 3 days. I think I have to lower my nic as this thing really hits hard, I love it. Thanks to all the posters that have shared their experience, couldnt have done it without all your help. I love being part of the GG family.

Your coil should have no problem lasting 3 days. Dry burn to clean and/or re-wrap around a new wick if needed.

I have been vaping on the premade wire coil for a week. Yesterday I got some wire finally and felt the urge to make new coil. It is great that you can experiment with coil resistance.

Ody is now my only vaping device (until Penelope comes). CE4+ became obsolete. DCT X2 as well.

Another thing is Ody takes just right amount of juice so I can change flavors several times a day. No need to finish or empty big tanks.

Well Im on day two of my first coil and its still vaping like a chimney. No loss of flavor or vapor. I love Penelope. Now the next challenge is creating my own wire instead of using the pre made. Then I need to get verified and paypal setup so I can sell my aluminum GGTS and my original GGTS according to the rules of the forum. I have to have a new GGTS, Proteus and VIR and selling the old is the only way to get the new. Linking Paypal to my bank is not as easy as I thought lol, but Im sure its user error just like its always user error with the things that go wrong with the GG products.

Congrats on your coil not hard at all. ya u be ok its when you change ejuice to a another flavor. Thats when you know if you need another wick. Taking it apart cleaning it out and if that wick is black then time to change the wick. I keep using the same coil just a new wick. I for one keep using it till the coil breaks. Then I''ll make a new coil.
