Yes it is too much. Use 6 volts and nothing higher until New attys are out.

I am charging another set of batteries. One of the two I got was DEAD .. forever. I decided to try the 3.7 while I wait to charge. The battery was flopping around until I realized that there was one more extension to remove. Can't wait for my 801 adapter to get here .. I really prefer that to the 901 .. Love the button lock .. You might not appreciate it until you have an atomizer heat up in your blue jeans pocket ..

ohhhhh my !!!! 6V vaping is the best !! Still having battery problems, but I have sent away for some other batteries. I don't know if it is the charger or the batteries -- Mr Personality at the store couldn't be bothered helping me. Just said "bring them back if they don't work .. " I think I will buy batteries and charger seperately. Sucks up the juice though, huh ??
