shhhhhh.... I can outshoot my husband, and he is a Marine sniper... LOL

But I am all around hunter... shotgun, rifle, compound bow, muzzleloader...... and I process everything myself (including the hides)... dont trust anyone with my food or leather

Ok, and with that I got a story to make you chuckle!

I had a friend once, her hubby brought home two pheasants. They were field dressed, no feathers, but one claw still on. She is SUCH a city girl, and her hubby can't even boil water in the microwave, which put them at quite a crossroads. I was trying to stay out of the way during the ensuing arguement (and trying my hardest not to laugh), which ended out by her screaming "But it's not PROCESSED!!!" and him screaming back "that's what YOU'RE for!!!"

Needless to say, once she took a threatening stance with the butcher knife rather than applying it to the birds, I tapped on her arm and asked if I could help She nearly fainted when I chopped the first claw off! LOL!!!

Her hubby, their kids, my kids, and I all agreed it was delicious. Her salad was pretty good too

Well he should be easy....LOL!

Being raised on a farm - nothing bothers me. Some of the things we had to do with cattle, pigs and horses, not to mention deer........one tough stomach here.

ya, after I shot him he ran quite a ways and finally fell on some land that I wasnt allowed to hunt on. so i had to load him up quick, no time to field dress. Took him home and cleaned him in the garage. Shovels come in handy.
