I don't mind spiders except when they fall on my head or crawl on my arm when i am sitting on the computer.
I grew up around tarantulas.
I remember when it rained in texas and oklahoma they would cover our mobilehome to stay dry.

All we get here in washington is brown recluse , so i just have to worry about my leg rotting off if i get bit.

Yeah the tarantulas I don't mind, a buddy from back in the day had one and I had no issues being around it. Its generally the smaller spiders that freak me right out

I hate ones we have here that jump at you if you get to close to them.. they are a little smaller than a m&m candy.. but when they jump at you.. eewww
