at first I had that thought of "Yay I can just put my total spent amount in the first kit box ",

but then realized that maybe there was some calculating going on there w/that second carto box ???

IDK what's calculating what here .... I know the one I use now just multiply's cost of cigs X days past ...right ?

so my thinking is we need one that does that then subtracts $$ spent to get total saved ......

I have a spread sheet that does this, but I'm the only one that can see that

    Way it does it:

(Caluclates how much you would have spent on cigs) - (cost of starter kits, but you can put whatever you want in there, i.e. what you have spent to date but don't include your carts and cartomizers) - (cost of carts/cartomizers)

Its a rough guess but a general guide and will track how many days you have been smoke-free, how many analogs avoided. The total savings is very subjective

    Yeah well ...I'm sorry....but

    I still don't get the cart/cartridge info part ...
I have no idea how much those would cost ?
or how many cigs they would represent ...or why this would matter ??

maybe the problem is that I DIY & try to reuse everything I have as long as I can ...IE: ego-t type systems ....

that's why ... I am interested in a banner that JUST does ....

    time without cigs
    cigs avoided....&
$$ saved after figuring in $$ spent on e-cigs, (that can be added to as more is spent )

.... & I have seen others mention this as well.
Because most banners do not consider money spent on e-cigs,
the saving amount doesn't really count to most people.

hence ... the BANNERS LIE comment... that a lot of the veterans use .
& that's WHY they don't like sig banners ...or so I've been told.

The idea is if you buy a cartridge or a cartomizer it calculates the cost of that. For instance if you had been buying a pack of cigs for say, 7 bucks, and a cart/carto is equivalent to you for a pack (for instance the ife of the unit, etc) and the cart/carto costs 2.00. Then the thinking is you saved 5.00. But if you want you can take that into account and estimate how much it costs to fill that unit and if its say 5 cents then just add that into the cost of a cart/carto.

The best that these things can do is estimate on savings, the rest of it (the days without an analog and the number of analogs avoided) is pretty straight forward.

So yes, the banner does what you want but sometimes you have to adjust the field on what you spent extra beyond the starter kit, etc, just re-generate the banner...

It just seems easier to figure out ....

I used to smoke X amount of cigs ,
which cost X amount daily, but since X date,
I have spent X amount on ecigs,
so therefore I have saved X amount of money
& avoided X amount of cigs.

Thanks for your time & effort & answers to my questions ....

Thanks--yes that's what it does...it asks those questions...how many cigs you used to smoke per day and how much they cost. "how much they have spend on ecigs" is asked by asking about the equipment purchases and then how much they pay for cartos/cartomizers to approximate basically a pack of cigs...So what you can do is enter in the "how much did your starter kit" - you can enter there yoru starter kit plus any other equipment purchase you have made, etc...

Then the next two questions ask you how much you pay for consumables...so what you have is:

(How Much Did you used to pay for cigs) - (How much you have paid for equipment) - (what you pay for your daily consumables) = Total savings

On the part that asks how much you paid for a starter kit you can feel free to put any number you want depending on the accuracy you want : )

No sure what you are inputting but use the calendar widget on the form and make sure you choose a date earlier than today : )

Oh, this is such a sweet looking banner! May I have one that doesn't lie about me money saving though...maybe one of your t-shirt sayings? I haven't saved any money vaping...not with all the wonderful spending opportunities it provides to further distract me from analogs!

But it does have a tee saying!

You can put whatever info you want in there to make it as accurate or 'inaccurate' as you want... : )
