I have one of these coming tomorrow to replace my old one that finally wore out after a month of constant use. Eventually, I just started dripping with it, but the pump carts do work, they just have a bit of a learning curve, but it's totally worth it when you taste those thick plumes of flavor.

You truly need to follow the op, and take a little toot while holding the button to release the juice with the ball in.

but there are many ways to make this work for each person, it just depends on what your most comfortable with.

That's they way I ended up using them. Figured it out just fiddling around with them. Just keep and eye on the sponge thing and if it looks close to coming out, push it back up a little with a paperclip. It's only flooded for me using this method if the sponge came out.
