Even if it feels like it's not working, just keep vaping hard on it, see if it kicks in. That's what I did, I got nothing, kept vaping hard, and suddenly I started getting vapor. (Happened to me twice now.)

I was convinced that I had killed my second one but after reading your post about this, I just kept vaping it even though I got zero out of it for a good solid 5 minutes. It's ALIVE! Thanks

I think because of how it is put together, when you clean it, it doesn't dry very fast. Even placing mine on a heater it took twice as long to dry as a vision. And water doesn't exactly vape IYKWIM.

mine died couple hours into it and wont come back to life. im glad i got 2 of them so i can test it out better. i like it "so-so".

its not as dependable as a boge carto and i cant tell the flavor any better (or worse). its a neat idea...and i think eventually something will come out that works well out of the box for me. this one doesnt, but it has potential.

Thats interesting. I don't favor fillered cartos, so I can't compare to that. But I am getting tons of flavor out of it. So much so that diluting my menthol down about half and half with plain pg/vg (which I do at night to cut nic content) I am still getting about as much flavor with the same juice as I do dripping, in a fluxo or a vision mini at full flavor. Granted it starts as an intense flavor that lends itself well to diluting, which is why I do that with this one, but still...

What juice are you using?

Nope...never did it, but I've got salvage wicks from the other fluxos. Can I use those?

I am sooo sorry I missed your request for tips in this. Basically make sure your coil is still nice and round. If not it will be very difficult because you have to re round it using needles. Then take a salvaged wick and get it nice and wet. Heat the coil because metal expands when hot. While it is cooling a bit, take the wet wick and twist with the spin to take out the slack making it as narrow a possible paying special attention to one end, trying to make it come to a point. Place that pointed end of wick at the opening of the empty coil and with a twisting motion, start feeding it in. If it sizzles the coil is too hot, wait a few seconds. You want warm but not sizzling. You must keep turning it the entire time you are pushing it in. and bear in mind you are turning with the spin of the wick to keep it twisted tight. Once it is in far enough, you can go to pulling instead of pushing, but you must maintain the twisting motion.

Per post by badkolo in the other stardust thread, more than 2 weeks past 01/06/2012 (which was when he posted). So keeping my fingers crossed for a bit more than a week from now, but better assume more like 3 weeks to be safe.
