Default Final ALL inclusive Gripper video review!

So the reason I did this final video review was to include everything from part one and part 2 all in one. I sort of figured out what was going on with it not irony LR so I thought I would make an all inclusive video!

Fully recharged the batteries and only had it lock up 2 times in 3 hours on 3.7v 1.5ohm dc. Thing definitely works like a champ though =) I cant seem to break in my visions for 5/6v they just burn.

thank you. Great review. Have you tried dual coil low res cartos? Those are the only ones that keep up with me. I've been looking at this and wondering ( I don't have lots of 65 dollars to toss around ).

Its hit or miss with LR anything. The visions that come with the device work fine but 1.5dc or LR singlecoils clearos whatnot have problems when the batts are fully charged. Once those batts run down they all work fine at 3.7 5 and 6v

Ditto to mikey. Dual coils will only work when it's not "acting up.". Honestly, if it wasn't for this issue I would say absolutely yes and recommend this unit. But, until they get this ironed out I wouldn't really be able to recommend. For $65 I want to be able to use LR stuff at 3.7. So basically it takes away the 3.7V option from it. Now not every unit has this issue, some have not...so it's a crap shoot. But hen its working it vapes like A MACHINE (wait...it is a machine...u know what I mean). The problem is you can't use LR unless your batts r half dead

So i just came across another con i had a leaky grande hooked up to this and over time it leaked into the gripper inbetween the space that connects both sides of the unit. Juice was coming out of the button, dripping down the battery.

Leaky parts = not good with the gripper

I got you beat. Last night I go to put the batteries in the charger to charge it. Before I even get it plugged in (Mind you both batteries were in the correct direction) I get this horrible smell in the house like that burning electronic/burning battery stink. I go to the charger and the battery is about 1000 degrees....so I quickly grab a pen to lift under the battery to flick it out of the charger and stop the connection. It completely melted the spring (Which is a fail safe the charger is meant to do in case of catostrophic failure) Not that this has anything to do with the MOD or anything, just probably a bad battery or charger...just thought it was funny the luck I've had with this mod. Mind you, I LOVE this mod when it works properly, it reminds me SOO much of my Tekk mod which to this day is one of my favorite all time mods. I just hope they can get the issues it has ironed out.
