Ah good... then I'll go ahead and get the new tube from you guys. Been wanting to try some GV stuff anyway, just from all the excitement over it in the forum. Hoping those colored vision thingies you showed us are available as well! Those look fabulous.

ill announce the new tubes once they are in the air, waiting patiently for the new heads, not happy with this situation but as long as they solve this then ill be happy that customers will be happy in the end.

Yeah, you're definitely looking at it the right way. I just wish.. had I found the GV forum a day earlier, I'd be dealing with you guys on my replacement and a tiny bit more set at ease. As it is I'm waiting on the other vendor, and they're being great and everything... but if I get my replacemnt sent out monday and its still not working properly or able to do the full gamut of vv function up to 6v, I'm gonna be definitely irked. lol I'd MUCH rather wait a few more days and know the problem will be resolved permanently.

And I bet you're not thrilled with the situation. But all you guys can do is research and due diligence, and deal with a good manufacturer. Sounds like GS has been good in the past... there's no way you could have anticipated these issues, any more than your clients could have. At least you know your clients are aware this was not a GV issue.

Most of us are patient and realize there are going to be issues with any new release. Thanks for the way you guys are responding, and heres to hoping the manufacturer doesn't go too insane trying to sort themselves out

There is a reason why I do so many reviews for GV. Not only are they insistant that I am honest, good or bad, but I know that every suggestion that I make about a product, isn't falling on deaf ears. Plus, if I do recommend a product, I know they are in good hands.

Now, my list of vendors that I work with has grown, but GV is in my top 3. I'm not saying which place. :P

Yeah, I know what you mean about the 'deaf ears' thing. I've got about 3 suggestions re tox.. I love it, even funkily functioning as the current head is.. it gives amazing options for people without $180+ to throw at a vv mod, and when it does fire, the vapor is outrageous. Just super dense and 'full' and I love it. But there are about 3 things, tiny details, that if they were addressed, would just make it a much 'higher end' sort of a product... and that would make it a total no brainer purchase. I'd recommend the Tox to anyone now, but lets just say if these things were addressed, I'd recommend it to EVERYONE. lol Unfortunately, I'm thinking GS isn't too interested in a random american woman''s ideas.

Huh.. ok, I would have offered but wasn't sure how much input you guys had about em, but here goes... 1) main fire button... that little essential space around it definitely looks odd. Its gotta be there, but some sort of a 'shield' behind the button, either thin rubber disc slightly larger than the button opening glued behind the button, or even if the button had a tiny 'lip' around the bottom of it with diameter slightly larger than the opening... just would make the whole assembly look better. Since it is currently so 'open' looking, I'm concerned I'm going to get juice or even fuzz from a pocket inside there, and gum up the works. 2) the 'teeth' inside the batt tubes and the bottom of head are made of plastic. It feels a little delicate and precarious when you fit those together and twist. Mine is perfect and fits together flawlessly, but I feel like I have to handle that sort of gingerly, and not sure how those will stand up to extended use. If there was a way to line those with metal, or simply make that part of the assembly a little stronger and less delicate. I feel like if I pushed it incorrectly or put pressure on the wrong area, those are gonna snap right off. No way would I attempt to change batt tube by feel in the dark, lets say. And 3) gotta be some way to get these units clad in some kind of metal.. stainless, even. Head, tubes, end cap. That's the single factor making these look like anything other than a $100 plus for stand alone mod vv units, or making its visual impact less exciting than the pricier vv mods, to me at least.

That being said, and all issues with the minor malfunctions (which will soon be a thing of the past) aside, these are unbeatable for the price, as is, and I couldn't be happier with mine (or that will be the case once my controller head is 100%).But I personally would have popped out another $20 or so for those strength and cosmetic improvements.
