Road trip! Phoenix 3ml vs VN...
Well I'm on a road trip from CO to TX to AZ. I finished the first leg of that trip today, and used the VN with 2.4 head at 4.2v and the phoenix 3ml at 4.4v for a total of 6ml and 15 hours of driving.
First thoughts at the end of the day was that the Phoenix has better flavor than the VN, BUT the VN is definitely a much easier to use product. I didn't have to think about possibly flooding the VN like I did the Phoenix.
The phoenix provided great flavor all the way down to the last drop, but I found if your not paying attention and vape too hard on it you taste the liquid not vapor. The VN had no issues with liquid leaking/seeping out of the drip tip. The flavor that I had in the VN is a strong flavor but it just didnt taste the same as it does out of an arty or stardust.
I found that the Phoenix also goes through juice much faster than the VN, I alternated the 2 through out the day and still have half the VN left but the phoenix is dry.
Btw I used my two itastes all day, they worked great now that I have gotten used to the wobble from the 510 magnet.
Day two tomorrow, I'm thinking about cutting the wicks of the VN to see if that helps.
Also forgive any typos I hate the iPhone autocorrect...

Day two down and I started using the VN more than the phoenix since the Phoenix was giving me issues while going through some passes... I cut the wicks to just slightly longer than the tank sides on the VN didn't notice any noticeable flavor increase though.
On a side note my Phoenix tank has yet to dump any liquid out on me, thanks everyone on the filling tips in the other thread!

I am curious - what kind of issues with the Phoenix? Did it have to do with rapid altitude change?

I think that was part of it, it started spitting and swearing at me... LOL.

I would say probably flooding issues

Got home finally! The Phoenix continued to feel like it was almost flooding, I started tilting it up so the wicks were out of the juice and that helped a lot, I'd say the increase in altitude from seal level to almost 4500 ft elevation was the major culprit.
The vivi just continued to work well, I did however open it up and close it again, so that probably relieved any pressure issues if there were any.
Over all I am still very happy with both, despite the spitting and almost flooding issues I think I prefer the Phoenix over the viva just cause the flavor is so much better than the viva.

so the phoenix has flooding issues and the vivi had taste issues?

The Phoenix only flooded as I was going through passes or if I took a hard drag off of it. The VN doesn't have taste issues so much as the Phoenix has a stronger flavor...(?). I'm still using both, and since I'm not traveling through mountain passes I haven't had the Phoenix flood again.
