Nice. That does look pretty cool like that too. Thanks for posting it.
I'd have to agree![]()
Sad news though... I screwed up the T-tip
I was out the other day for most of the day and got the tip stuck in an atty. I have one 510 atty that seems to be a bit tighter than all the rest. I had noticed it before and was only sticking the T-tip in far enough to set there without popping it in all the way because I didn't want to force it in and get it stuck. Well while I was out I wasn't paying attention and the tip popped right in all the way no problem. Unfortunately it did not want to come out no matter what I did. So I took a stack of napkins and a pair of pliers and unfortunately even though I had about a half inch of napkins between the pliers and tip it still ended up scratching the coating.
It still looks mostly good but it has two spots where the stainless steel is showing through now.
hmmm... after seeing how good it looks in the above pic I bet it would look good with the solar caps too.
Rumor has it, I've been trying this lately to check it out, that if you turn/twist the tip as you put it in and take it out - works better and helps protect from pulling apart the atty. Supposedly the o-ring wears over time and turning it helps when putting on & off.

Yup that is true Nebula. I always have done it that way. But no amount of attempted twisting, turning, pulling, prying, or anything else would get it out that time.
Any idea on order #290?

Mine looks like the one jay is holding in that pic. I really like the way it changes color from the sun and then going inside. Its looks red, brownish red, black, kind of a copper color. Very happy!!! Love the button! See you all soon!

For Mutt. I got to meet the guys from vaporbomb, .... cool bunch of people for sure.
The 2 on the end are nebula green before the clear coat , but my cam does not do this color justice so it looks black.
This is a color I made by mixing blue and nebula green. Its a dark navy with metal flake
