Good to hear that a doc said that!
Sorry for the thread necro, but didn't see any point in starting a new thread.
I've been vaping for... I don't remember, there's a banner or something in my sig... ... that long.
Recently I've been getting bouts of "fogginess"... general confusion and disorientation. To the point where I have trouble moving my mouse and clicking on links and stuff like that.
When I was smoking I had what the doctor called "remarkably low" blood pressure considering I don't work out, eat right, and was smoking at the time. I haven't been back to the doctor since because I don't have insurance anymore and it's not something that's REALLY troubling me.
If I had to take a guess it's just my blood pressure bottoming out for a little while (usually lasts about 2-3 hours) and picks back up. I don't think it's directly related to the PV, probably just a side effect of nicotine withdraws since I've cut myself way down on the nicotine levels I've been taking in.
Couldn't tell you the numbers, wasn't really paying attention. It was about 4 years ago and I was in for testing for some other issues I was having... they were telling me it could'ev been MS, or early onset of Parkinson's, or Lou Gehrig's... so my mind was elsewhere. (Just ended up being tourettes, BTW, no biggie).
It's been happening more and more the past couple of weeks or so. Happened for about 20-30 mins yesterday morning, but it's not something that happens too often, so I'm really not worried about it.
I've been vaping for 6 months. The dizziness, orthostatic hypotension, shortness of breath (esp. while lying down) lethargic, no energy are getting worse. While smoking my blood pressure was 120/80 and now it's pretty consistently 110/70 range. I know that smoke raises your blood pressure. Maybe I quit smoking analog to quickly and didn't give my body enough time to adjust?? Idk but I dont have insurance to go to a doctor right now. These symptoms are scaring me.
Clexxi, keep us updated. When did this start??

I get this all of the time too. Right now I think that it's because I've been in the process of cutting back on the nic in my juice. After about a month of using 12mg juice these symptoms started to go away. I actually got these exact same symptoms (that weird foggy unable to concentrate feeling) while on the patch. I chalk that one up to nicotine withdrawal and it's a fine line between that and too much nic especially when you drink a lot of caffeine like I do which can also make you feel strange. The nicotine also hits you differently with vaping that it does with smoking which I'm sure also contributes to these symptoms.
I've had a few dizzy bouts, even when lying down. Also the zoned out with muddled thinking symptoms. For me, I can conclude the reason for these episodes is stemmed from my relaxed behavior with the ejucie from a flooded cart. I used to jump up and immediatly wash any liquid from my hands ... and now I just wipe them on a paper towel half the time. Then I switched to marvelous Mega Cart/w/atty. These work fantastic, until the filling decides it's too old to hold it's liquid anymore and then it pisses all over you. Naturally, instead of hurrying to the sink to wash it off of me, I'm more concerned over my ecig being wiped down proper. this has led to quite a few dizzy spells. I no longer refill a mega cart full after the first two refills. (please don;t bash me for using these, I really like them overall!! plus I do use cartomizers and dripping too... but there's many times when the mega cart is handier). I just need to kick "safety" back into my vocab.
hmmm. well i have had the same problem and have read all the posts... it's been 6 weeks of no analogs and i only smoked 2/3 of a pack a day...seems like six weeks out i'd not be having a dissociative experience from a withdrawal anymore. I also only use vg base, sooo....i don't think FOR ME that it has to do with pg vs. vg base nor withdrawel from analogs. I hope this goes away! and i hope it's not about glucose levels.
