Haven't had it this time with the e-cigs which confirms to my mind that it is the nicotine (or lack thereof). I've only heard of one other person who has these weird side effects from quitting smoking/nicotine. Most people go back to cigarettes because of the cravings but with me not feeling in control [an illusion, I know].

I gave up for 2-3 weeks and had to go back to the analogues because of these exact symptoms. They weren't subsiding at all and in fact, were getting worse, and I had to get the accounts done, but could not focus enough to get through it.

Sorry to make you scream booboo but each of us can only speak from our own experiences.

Not true: a considerable reduction will do the same thing.

The point is, we do not know that. The latest study published suggests that we are absorbing much less nicotine than has previously been summised.

In which case, your last nerve must now be shattered beyond belief. LOL.

It's always good to have both sides of the coin portrayed, don''t you think? You may choose to believe that x is right, but until more studies are done and published, we can each of us only go by our own experiences and by making educated guesses based upon the reading of others experiences. The fact of the matter is that studies on people giving up smoking have been carried out, and these symptoms have been reported as side effects of that (PS and I don't believe that it is just the nicotine that we 'withdraw' from - but that's just my tuppence-worth )

Hey everyone,

Ever since i started vaping which has been about 3 weeks nows. I feel out of body mentally, I feel like my head tilts to the left, almost dizzy. I dont really like it, I love that I have completely quit smoking though! It has worked wonders for me. The dizziness lasts for days at a time it feels like. i have moved to little to no nicotine, so i know its not nicotine overdose. I see many people have the same exact symptoms as me, I feel like we have to figure out why this is happening, we need a real ****ing answer to this, Maybe its the liquid or cartridges, maybe the atomizer, something makes me feel dizzy after i smoke this thing, but I want to continue to smoke it because its helping me quit.
I doubt its nicotine withdrawel or overdose honestly.... I think it has something to do with the glycol in the cartridge, what does everyone mean by vg?
Does anyone feel like there head leans to the left, or you kinda of lose your balance after smoking, or even 5 hours after smoking. The effects of the vaporizing seems to last hours, that pisses me off too. The one time i dont get dizzy spells while smoking is when im out drinking in clubs with it,

I wonder, when vaping for a time, if I'm simply breathing deeper as I vape.
Lungfull after lungfull of deep breaths, led by a mouthfull of vapor, repeatedly,
hour after hour...
The dizzy, giddy feeling I get is similar to what happens when I play a wind instrument,
or simply practice breathing exercises. Certainly it would add to the feeling of light-headedness

What you're describing sounds like sinus/inner ear issues, which could be related to vaping or simply to quitting analogs. I've had sinus issues for many years that have included random episodes of feeling off-balance and/or like the world suddenly tilts sideways on me. As soon as I quit analogs, it's like that problem went into overdrive. I'm almost at 3 weeks now (vaping a lot, but no smoking) and it seems to be starting to get better.

I don't know about feeling dizzy when you're out drinking, but that might have more to do with alcohol without tobacco. I've noticed that alcohol affects me differently since quitting analogs. My head feels surprisingly clear even as the rest of my body is affected. Very weird!

In June before starting to vape, my hemoglobin levels tested high, cause smoking per doc. In Sept. (started vaping end of July) hemoglobin levels tested NORMAL!

The symptoms you describe are exactly how I feel when I am out of analogs. (I have not started vaping just yet.)

I have a really hard time concentrating, focusing, absorbing and retaining information. I get irratable, snappy, and turn into what I can only describe as the -anti 'me'-.

I hope that whatever is causing your issues clears up for you! Keep us updated on how you are doing!

If this is more than a bother to you, as in troublesome, get ye to a doctor. Most members here aren't physicians, the ones who are in the medical field can't and won't diagnose here.

That said, anecdotal ONLY mind, you've described nicotine withdrawal as I have experienced it.

I 'spose one thing ya could try, if you haven't already, go ahead and smoke another analog or 2 and see what, if anything, that does for your symptoms.

Seriously, get a checkup man

Kicking cigs is much like kicking herion, from what I have heard but worse.

I turned into an anti today when my Battery on my SB died....the basics were NOT covering it... I notice when my nic levels DROP I need a pick me up or I go all aggro. First its the can't focus on anything then get irrate at everything.

I started vaping on a 401 with 18mg juice (from 2 packs a day) and I wasn´t feeling great. I tried quitting a few times, so I knew what it´s like, and to me, it felt like nicotine withdrawal. Basically like cutting down from 2 packs to about 5 cigarettes a day (been there, done that). I´d feel mildly irritated and had difficulty concentrating, then, after vaping, I´d be a bit dizzy/groggy. This is EXACTLY the feeling I´d get when on a long flight, after ten hours of not smoking, then having my first cigarette.

I moved on to a 901, which is giving me a lot more vapor and I´ve been vaping 14mg with it now, except quite a bit more than before, and I feel great. Well, not great, I feel the same as before.

I DO get some light-headedness after very heavy vaping, but that´s to be expected.

Just my personal experience, hope it helps. Of course, if serious symptoms persist, DO go and see a doctor.
