I have the latter two of those symptoms right now, it doesn't usually happen, but I vaped way too much 36mg without realizing it. I think it might be from the after effects of the nicotine, the "crash" so to speak, because I haven't had a drag in about half an hour.

Haven't read the whole thread (just this page) and while many things may play a (possibly bigger) part, hyperventilation could be a reason - more than normal inhalation volumes without real need for extra oxygen.

Pg acts on the cns, I personally get shaky, confused, low blood sugar, and just feel wierd. It can cause drowziness and its not supposed to be taken with anitdepressants for some reason, probaby cause its a cns depressant thats listed as a possible neurotoxin. I have had the "high" weird feeling many times, and I think its time to look at other ingrediants not just nic. It seems to many people only recognize nic as a possible culprit as if its the only ingrediant. These are not harmless substances.
    Good thread.

    Default PG- cns depressant?

I would like to know where that info comes from as my husband is on several antidepressents and had a severe bout of depression when we first started vaping. He still is really not up to par. Does VG have the same effects on cns? I would appreciate any info that you could give. There are 3 people in my family that have just started vaping about 3 weeks ago and have all been dizzy/spacey/tired. I was chalking it up to withdrawals from the cigs.

i started getting all this dizzy, spacey feeling after going from prefilled 11mg cartomizers to
lower 6mg and 0 ejuice and filling myself. the day i brought this thread up was the worst. i almost went back to analogs. i roughed it at work and ran to the kiosk in the mall where i got my first e cig from and bought some prefilled 11mg cartomizers like i started with . i first got a bad headache (probably from the higher nic) and then within an hour went back to feeling like normal. so im gonna say its either the ejuice i bought online or the lower nic dose ? the place prefilled cartomizers that dont affect me say they are made in usa and are deg free. ive also since tried 100 % vg from another vendor and thats fine so far also. this is just my personal expeirence so please dont up your nic level on my findings.

I have been getting all my juice from 1 supplier with PG. This is realy starting to concern me and I think I will check into it. On the other hand my mom has only used prefilled from another supplier and is having the same symptoms as my husband and I are.

Two things since nobody has mentioned them and they should be kept in mind. One many smokers suffer from rhinitis and when they quit smoking it can be hell for awhile as your sinuses start changing, clearing your upper nasal passages and such, which can lead to being dizzy, lightheaded, etc.

Second is the fact that when you quit smoking your body is suddenly hit with a lot more oxygen in it's system. Oxygen levels in the blood stream increase significantly, more oxygen flow to the brain produces these same symptoms.

So anyone who has quit smoking can expect the possibility of these symptoms for several months after making the switch. It's just like how I have heard some people complain of shortness of breath after switching to vaping, once again it's a common symptom of quitting cigarettes that can last for months after your last analog.

My Dr. prescribes Propylene Glycol to me daily and I've been using about 4 tblsp a day for 6 yrs. and it hasn't had any adverse reactions for me. Vg on the other hand gives me terrific headaches.

Xenite makes a good point. Once you put those analogs down, your going to withdrawal from the 4k toxins in cigs, as well as within a few days be intaking oxygen much better. Its simply part of the transition, and i remember mine taking a couple weeks to subside or get used to at least. Its rare that the PG causes significant effect. Just remember your nic levels- reds have 24 mg, lights -18mg, ultra lights- 12mg per pack. each pack is a ML of liquid. I was 2 pack a day smoker ultralight, and 2 ml of 12 mg liquid does me good all day. BUT, I can use up to 24mg regularly, and a little 36 on rough moments without major side effects or headaches. We know what OD on nic feels like, so we know when enough is enough. But when you first transition, you quite smoking and accept the effects, with the benefit of getting no nicotine withdrawal. But its not just nic you gave up, so give it time to subside.

I have had the "high" feeling also. But I really believe its because of a higher nic level than I need. At first I had serious headaches from vaping 12mg juice.

So I bought 0 nic juice in the same flavor, and direct drip one or two drops of each. Headaches and spaceiness are gone, unless I put a bit more juice with nic in, then I get the buzz.

Maybe I am weird, but I kinda like the slight buzz I get from vaping a little higher nic than I really need. But I notice that when I drip 2 drop nic, with 2 drops no nic and vap that, that for the next couple of hours I can vap only no nic and feel just fine.
