It actually sounds to me as though vaping nic was deadening some already present condition. Nic is used as a nerve pain/neuralgia treatment...I use it this way for a nerve illness, and its corresponding pains and strange sensations it creates. Nic knocks them out entirely. You may have some underlying allergy or chemical sensitivity that the nic is treating, thus itching returns when you stop vaping. Just my thoughts.
Deciding not to smoke is one thing. Forgetting to smoke is a different animal altogether.
I could be way off base, but just a thought. Each summer I get some type of heat rash on my hands that causes me to scratch to the point of breaking skin sometimes. I get tiny blister looking things usually along the edges of my hands and fingers that itches like hell. I usually just use lotion with aloe in it, and that temporarily chills it out.
Then it goes away...until the next summer.
Just thought I'd mention this since it is summertime.
About 3 weeks ago I was scratching myself raw and bruised...reviewed everthing I had been doing. Finally decided I had backed off a bit on my water consumption...increased water...waaaaaay better now....
