Wow. If we can inhale and metabolize the glycerin/glycol as a carbohydrate -- then the Breathatarians weren't wrong after all! G! I'm joking of course. If vaping raises blood glucose, I am pretty certain that has to do with the effect of nicotine. I blog I read sort of suggested that nicotine encou rages adipose tissue to release fatty acids. That would raise blood glucose. If it's an issue, I'd say switch to a non-nic juice.

Yes, I just went looking for that, has a lot to do with Thyroid functions, stopping smoking can change hypothyroid to hyperthyroid (realative) so this would be a concern to diabetics as well. But that has more to do with diet watching as well to reduce blood glucose. Mary Kay is the resident expert about these things, an awful lot of people have come forward with problems, but so far the problems are relating to changes in metabolism, not from side effects of Glycerin or Proplene Glycol. But the article I highlighted says no, PG and VG are not metabolised as carbohydrates.

As the popularity of ecigs grow so will the "unhealthy" rumors. Not wanting this to happen I refuse to admit, since I've started vaping, I've grown a third eye and am able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.
